I tried to take a video of the whole radio. The hand crank works, there is 2 flash light. The flip one turns on when flipped out and auto turns off when you put it back down (with solar panel facing up)Radio works well, you turn the volume all the way down to turn it OFF.There is a switch at the bottom to use AAA battery or the battery itself. You can charge the device via usb , solar, or hand crank. It will charge your phone too. It comes with a micro usb cord.Took pictures for instructions in case anyone loses the paper.

If you're in an emergency where there is no electricity no batteries on hand will always have the Sun.

These radios have gotten significantly smaller in recent years. This one is small enough I can put it in my work bag to have with me almost all the time in case of emergency. Hand crank is a must and the solar panel, albeit slow, is a nice bonus. Light under the solar panel is great. Weather emergency radio band is nice. The only thing that could be better is a larger Li-Ion battery as it would only charge my iPhone about 1/2 way even at a full charge, but even that is enough for an emergency.

I was a little skeptical about this unit being in the price range that it was in but decided, what the heck.
      I stand corrected...
This little gem is actually really nice and functional. Both lights are very bright, the crank on the back is substantial, and overall heft of the unit is good.
This came with astonishingly good instructions, was well packaged, and arrived on time.
Sound quality is decent enough, although it’s not something your gonna want to jam too for any length of time.
This is in my Bug Box now and hopefully holds a change for extended periods.

      : Updated review.
Alright, so I was worried just because it's not huge or anything. About a foot long.
      It is a nice radio.
At first the battery power and solar charging was wonderful.
Now it's draining fast, and I let it charge in the sun for 2 days before even turning it on and I just tried to use it. Lasted maybe 5 minutes before it died.
Heartbroken because I really did love this little radio, and I don't have electric on my deck. But it looks like I'll have to find something else.

I got this radio well over a month ago. I took out of the box and let it charge via solar panel. I have used off and on trying to test how long the charge would last. We had bad weather today. I have batteries in it, but there was no need to use them. The switch on the bottom changes from battery to the solar charged source. I have yet to use regular batteries. I have also used the hand crank on it when I first recieved before sitting in the sun to charge. This little radio is not too big or little. It makes me feel much more comfortable about bad weather and having a radio/phone charger/light resource. I highly recommend!
