We bought these after owning the Kasa spot indoor cameras for 2 years. Quick and easy setup! Great battery life. Both cameras have been on outside all day and night, with the factory recommended motion sensitivity, since we purchased them 4 weeks ago and their battery life is at 67%! They paired perfectly with our Google home hub and the Kasa app. Picture is pretty clear too. The only downfall is the distance that you can mount the cameras away from the hub. One of our outside cameras could only be placed about 10’ (give or take) from the hub. Mounting it any further would cause the video to go black in the app without an error notice. Luckily we were able to mount it in a different spot and still capture the area we wanted, but it has stopped us from buying more cameras for the backyard. Also, the “siren” isn’t really a siren sound at all, more like a repetitive low volume beeping sound that doesn’t even scare a squirrel. Hopefully they can come up with a better distance range from the hub. Overall we’re happy with our purchase and wish we could purchase two more.

Great camera system!.. at first...
6MONTH EDIT- These cameras suck. I really don't know how else to put it, Kasa seriously needs to come out with an update. I have owned these cameras for 6 months now and its been nothing but issues with ZERO software and firmware updates. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR. SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE AND GO WITH A BETTER BRAND. I will need to purchase new cameras that actually work, I will no longer buy KASA products.Very good little camera system. Motion sensitivity takes a little time to get dialed in. I have a Ring doorbell and have to charge it every week or two. These seem to be about the same with 24/7 motion detection as far as battery life goes. Easy hookup and setup, very happy with this purchase.EDIT!!This was a five star, after about 1 day the first camera disconnected. No big deal. Took a little while to figure out what was going on but I unplugged the hub and plugged it back in and it started working again. (I'd like to mention that during the first day, it drained a ton of battery searching for the hub, but could not connect, so much so it was at 5% and my other camera at 99%) It worked for about another day and disconnected again. This time nothing seemed to fix it, after 2 hours with Kasa/Tp-link tech support they concluded i should return it. I messed with it for a few more hours constantly trying to reconnect it, after about 10 resets and 50 attempts to reconnect i finally got it. If it continues to work I will keep it at 4 stars, if it gives me more trouble I am going to take another star away, and attempt to return it/get continued support.Edit- Its been a few months and Kasa has lost another star from me, I continue to have issues with connectivity, the activity zones are useless and motion detection always drained the battery.. when it worked. Currently, my system is not detecting motion. I have all but given up on this system, it is very buggy. Kasa needs a better update to fix these.
