I bought this because it was a 24” frame and my daughter is a 9 yr old with a height of 4’9. I wanted pedal assist levels because we have some decent hills in our neighborhood that need assistance to get up.She was scared of the assist at first but I got her to turn it off and start pedaling up to a normal speed then hit the + button for level one assist and try pedaling a little then coast. She did it and got used to it in about 10 minutes and now asks if we can use “High” a lot.She likes to bomb the hill and I follow her with my speedometer equipped bike. She almost always gets about 22 MPH and can keep that up even after the hill! It might help that she only weighs in at 75 pounds but the 350W motor should be fine for her for years to come. The seat is almost all the way down and the handlebars are adjustable height which is a great feature! We made a deal that we wouldn’t “ride without pedaling” because it’s not transportation for us as much as it is family exercise.We average 35-45 minutes and 6-7 miles on our nightly rides and after 5 nights it still had 25% or more battery life.This bike arrived with some shopping damage which is beyond the seller’s control but they quickly made it right by sending the replacement parts and a small refund for our trouble of doing the work!A+ customer service from the seller in my opinion!Pros:- The disc brakes are great and stop quickly- The motor has plenty of power to assist pedaling- Top speed averages 20-22 MPH- Battery life is at least 40 miles with 80 pound rider- Battery charge indicator on battery pack and also bike controls.     My 12-year-old has been wanting an e-bike for around a year. She wanted to be able to go on long-distance bike rides with me. When the Varun bike arrived, the packaging was in great shape. The bike was in excellent shape, with all the necessary hardware and tools. It had a QR code to scan for a quick instructional video. Putting the bike together was very easy and took little time. She has been on 4 rides since it arrived, one being over 7 miles. It handles great and has a lot of power. Charging is simple and doesn't take very long to fully charge again. The headlight is bright, and the control panel on the handlebar is simple to operate. I see us purchasing another one of these soon, as it was such a great value for the quality of the bike we received. The one-year warranty activation was easy, and support got back to me quickly on activation.

    Bought this bike for my son’s birthday so he can ride to and from school. First the bike was lost on shipment so had to complain millions of times, finally they shipped a new one but since November we have had to replace the tubes 4 times and my son even had to find a ride back home because the tires flattened while he was in school. These tires should be of good quality given the price we have paid for this bike. His bike had been sitting in our garage for 3 weeks now because it’s getting expensive have to keep purchasing tubes.     The bike arrived sooner than I expected, everything was in tact and in working order, but the assembly was not very easy (to me at least)

    That said, I like the look and performance of the battery and ease of operation. I did not like that the seat is pointed upward towards my package and have to sit a certain way but I still make it work lol

    The thing I was not impressed with was the squeaky front wheel, it could use some WD-40 before packing the bike, and the front brakes would lock shut and I'd have to squeeze hard to get it to release which again could use WD-40 so that does not happen.

    I like the bike enough to keep it as it's my first ebike and the value is pretty worth it. Thank you for listening to my ted talk

    The installation became quite challenging bec. handle bar post was adjustment screw set too tight and the brakes need adjustment. After almost 2 hours, it was worth it. The battery came pre-charged and took another 2 hours to top it. You will need the key to take it out and lock it back into the bike. You don't need the key to turn it on or off and just press the button to do so. I replace the seat and added a seat post suspension. The ride is smooth and more comfortable. Once you turn on pedal assist, it gives a burst of speed so be careful.

    2 weeks into the bike and it is working awesome for my 10 year old. Assembly wasn't too hard and took about one hour. The bike works well and it more than enough electric motor for my 10 year old (90 lbs). If you are a full adult (200 lbs) it does not have enough motor power to take you up steep hills - you have to pedal. My 10 year is light enough he doesn't pedal on the same hills.

    For the price, the quality of the bike, its construction and parts are quite good. Happy with the purchase.

    It shipped fast from a California based warehouse via Fedex ground.

    Habe das Fahrrad für 900 € gekauft. Dafür gab es sogar die Version mit 27,5 Zoll Reifen also die größten Reifen und den größten Akku dazu.

    Bin sehr zufrieden, das Teil tut was es soll, kommt vormontiert in einer großen Kiste, Bremsen sind eingestellt, Schaltung ist eingestellt, habe ca eine Stunde gebraucht dann war das Teil zusammengebaut und konnte schon losfahren.

    Der Akku hält ganz ordentlich, was mir auch gut gefällt ist die Berganfahrhilfe, man muss nicht mehr schauen in welchem Gang man lostritt und hat keine Probleme mehr in einem hohen Gang am Berg anzufahren.

    Bremsen funktionieren auch gut kann man auch nachstellen, sind Bremsen mit Seilzug also keine hydraulischen, funktioniert aber genauso und an der Stelle möchte ich auch auf den Preis verweisen.
    Andere E-Bikes von Markenherstellern Kosten mal locker das vierfache und können auch nicht mehr, sind natürlich qualitativ etwas besser, aber für den Preis kann man sich absolut nicht beklagen.

    Im Menü lassen sich sogar noch einige Feineinstellungen was den Motor angeht vornehmen und man kann Daten ablesen wie die maximale Höchstgeschwindigkeit Kilometerstand und so weiter.

    Habe das Fahrrad auch eine Nummer kleiner für meine Frau gekauft, die ist auch sehr zufrieden, das hat sogar nur 700 € gekostet.

    Unterm Strich: das Teil ist kein High-End Markenprodukt, das kann man aber für den Preis auch nicht erwarten Punkt für den Preis kriegt man allerdings sehr viel fürs Geld, robustes Rad funktioniert hervorragend, tut was es soll und hat sogar einen Ständer dran, das haben nämlich 4000 € Räder von Cube nicht, die kann man nicht mal hinstellen ohne Aufpreis zu bezahlen.

    Habe das Fahrrad für 900 € gekauft. Dafür gab es sogar die Version mit 27,5 Zoll Reifen also die größten Reifen und den größten Akku dazu.

    Bin sehr zufrieden, das Teil tut was es soll, kommt vormontiert in einer großen Kiste, Bremsen sind eingestellt, Schaltung ist eingestellt, habe ca eine Stunde gebraucht dann war das Teil zusammengebaut und konnte schon losfahren.

    Der Akku hält ganz ordentlich, was mir auch gut gefällt ist die Berganfahrhilfe, man muss nicht mehr schauen in welchem Gang man lostritt und hat keine Probleme mehr in einem hohen Gang am Berg anzufahren.

    Bremsen funktionieren auch gut kann man auch nachstellen, sind Bremsen mit Seilzug also keine hydraulischen, funktioniert aber genauso und an der Stelle möchte ich auch auf den Preis verweisen.
    Andere E-Bikes von Markenherstellern Kosten mal locker das vierfache und können auch nicht mehr, sind natürlich qualitativ etwas besser, aber für den Preis kann man sich absolut nicht beklagen.

    Im Menü lassen sich sogar noch einige Feineinstellungen was den Motor angeht vornehmen und man kann Daten ablesen wie die maximale Höchstgeschwindigkeit Kilometerstand und so weiter.

    Habe das Fahrrad auch eine Nummer kleiner für meine Frau gekauft, die ist auch sehr zufrieden, das hat sogar nur 700 € gekostet.

    Unterm Strich: das Teil ist kein High-End Markenprodukt, das kann man aber für den Preis auch nicht erwarten Punkt für den Preis kriegt man allerdings sehr viel fürs Geld, robustes Rad funktioniert hervorragend, tut was es soll und hat sogar einen Ständer dran, das haben nämlich 4000 € Räder von Cube nicht, die kann man nicht mal hinstellen ohne Aufpreis zu bezahlen.

    Purchased this varun 27.5 ebike with APP on monday and it arrived 4 days later, it was easy to put together to get it on the road, I rode it to the beach (3 miles) on pa's and throttle, returned home, it is a 6 mile round trip, and the full battery has not moved , and me being 105.5 kg I'm very happy with that, apart from the seat (which is my only gripe about this bike) it was a great ride. The sales team at varun were great as I ordered the wrong bike, they cancelled immediately, money was refunded next day and I reordered the ebike with the app, the build quality of the bike looks very good and strong. I can definitely recommend this mountain ebike and the company.
