From the Manufacturer

CF2HC California Framer combines the features of two of their most popular tools, into a rugged, heavy construction hammer. The smoothly swept claws were borrowed from our "999" Rip Hammer, and the extra larger striking face, hatchet eye and sturdy handle are a heritage of our Rigbuilder's Hatchet. The hatchet style handle is best grade, second growth hickory. To provide extra strength, the handle has a large cross section where it joins the fully polished head.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best Framing Hammer I ever had so far
Reviewed in the United States on September 17, 2020
Made it my own, scuffed up lacquer finish to give it a non-slip surface. Wrapped electrical tape around the neck to avoid damaging the wood handle. Great ergonomics of the handle, weight balance, and head shape. Brilliant hammer. Gonna build a storm with it :)
