Overall a worthwhile purchase
Found a 10 ft quick fill pool for $75 in local store after I paid $200 for this 8ft so very disappointed in price. A 10ft wouldn't fit on my deck so I kept it. Fits on my deck perfectly and my granddaughter absolutely loves it..its big enough for an adult lounger so I do enjoy hot days cooling off as well.fills easily..make sure to get wrinkles out of the floor as pool is filling or it will be lopsided...I use chlorine tabs in a floating dispenser to keep it clean and sanitized. It works really well. 1 or 2 3"tabs every 2 weeks.the pump has 2 intake hoses and one output...not as effective as single in and out I've had before.. I dont think the pump is strong enough for dual intake hoses but I bought a pool cleaning kit that uses a hose to vacuum the bottom so I can keep it really clean.I really love this pool and I know it will get lots of use this summer. Just right for 2 or 3 people..up to my neck when I sit down so its a refreshing pause from the crazy times we live in.

This is the only 8 foot pool I could find with a filtration system. And for $50, was well worth the money. My kids have played in it every day this summer. With proper water chemistry, everything stayed nice and clean all summer and I only had to change the water once (just too much grass and dirt collected). The vinyl held up well to the pool chemicals and -- while noisy -- the circulation pump seems to be lasting a long time too. I assume this pool will last at least one more season and my hope is maybe a few more!

I have the pool sitting on a wooden deck and the bottom is strong enough to span the decking boards (no more than a quart inch between boards) without being an issue.

At 30" deep, the kids have gained a lot of confidence in the water. It's deep enough where they can dunk their heads but not so deep that I have to constantly worry about someone falling. Plus, with the floating pool rim, you can fill it high or as low as you want (as long as the intake for the circulation pump is submerged which is about 20 or so inches off the ground) and the rim rises or lowers accordingly.

Only thing that I can't seem to get to work right is the drain plug. It drains so slowly into a 50-foot garden hose that after an hour, the water level dropped about an inch. I scrapped that technique and used a utility pump to drain the pool.

Would definitely recommend.

The 8' Easy Set Pool is great in concept, easy to set up. However, it sags terribly and does not look anything like the picture which shows the sides of the pool being firm. It probably needs additional inflatable rings besides the top, because the sides sag like crazy.

The directions say that you must have a level place to put it, but for practical purposes my backyard is about as flat as they come. I requested a refund two days ago from CMS Worldwide Sales and have not heard back yet. I would definitely advise AGAINST buying this product.

Inflatable top rim had a hole when we bought it. Can't find the whole so we have to reinflate every day. Other then that, the size is perfect for my toddlers and the filter is great

I was skeptical when we were first considering purchasing this pool. The price was certainly right (affordable) but we were concerned that that would mean a cheap or flimsy product. After some consideration and looking around for alternatives, we decided to get this soft-sided model since it was the only model that would fit into our tiny urban backyard. The set-up couldn't have been simpler. And within about two-hours our kids were splashing away. The pool has been set up now for about a month. As each day goes by the water gets warmer and warmer and our kids stay in the pool longer and longer! Best hundred bucks we've spent on the kids. We also purchased a separate cover and a ladder and a net. Remember... safety first!

One thing that they don't tell you much about in their literature is how to maintain the pool. That was one of the things that I was most anxious about since I had never had to do that growing up. I certainly didn't want the kids swimming in a slime pool. So since there wasn't much info to go by, we took a trip to a local pool supply place and they set us up with a simple inexpensive test kit and two chemicals to be added to the water at regular intervals in order to maintain the chlorine and PH levels. Pretty simple, but you have to be ready to monitor regularly so as not to give algae a chance to get started. The pool comes with a small pump, and we let that run constantly. The filter included with it is washable... less waste. All-in-all it's actually less trouble than I had thought to keep the water clean. And my wife is now calling me the pool boy ;)

I purchased this pool for my nieces & nephews so they didn't have to swim in the filthy local lake. It was very easy to set up-it only took about 30 minutes to unpack & place the pool, and then several hours to fill. The kids love it, and their parents will get in too too cool off. Unlike the tiny hard plastic kiddie pools that I had as a little kid, the water is deep enough to cool off in the summer. The kids are all still small, so the water is at least waist-deep for all of them. I would definitely buy this again, and as long as they get 1 more summer out of it, I won't hesitate to buy another one.

I had a nice Koi pond that was damaged beyond repair by Hurricane Ike. I did not have the money to rebuild it due to all the other damage to my home. The Koi pond was losing about 200 gal/day and constant refilling is not a healthy option for the Koi (named Pat and Robin) so I needed a quick and easy solution fast before they sickened and died.

I bought one of these pools to put them in and it has worked GREAT! It is sturdy and just the right size and depth for two rather large Koi. I did use the filter from my original Koi pond instead of the one provided because it would have been inadequate for what I was using the pool for. I set it up, filled it with water, added the dechlorinators and other stuff to condition the water for the Koi to live in, moved the pond filter over to where the pool was set up and ran the hoses. I used some of the rocks from the old Koi pond to make them a reef and hold the outlet hose from the filter down. I even made them a "ghetto" Koi castle using an old plastic patio table held down with some rocks.

Pat and Robin are healthy and happy with their "new" pond 5 months later and the pool is showing no wear or tear. In fact those two have grown a couple of inches and their condition is great. I plan on building them a new pond as soon as I can but it is a relief to know that they are in a good place so I do not have to rush on rebuilding so I can do it right. I am buying a spare pool to have on hand just in case something happens to this one or I need a holding pond for them in the future.
