First modification would be to change out the type of rope. This does not need to be done right away, but I have already seen the rope begin to fray after several uses. The rope is made of a polyester blend, and if caught on anything, can begin to rip.
The second modification would be to make the main tie of the rope to the botton of the anchor, then zip tie the top of the anchor to the rope. This will allow you to retrieve the anchor in case it is stuck. I personally have not had to an incident, where this was an issue, but the mechanics of the system does make sense.
