Simple, elegant and sturdy enough. Looks great with white chairs. The only issue is because I have young children who fidget while seated at the table and bump into it a lot, it shifts and moves around slightly but I still consider it sturdy. Also, I have to occasionally use the little wrench tool it comes with and tighten the bolts that connect the legs, as they come loose. However, I believe this is due to the children leaning heavily on the table and causing it to shift around, as I mentioned. The chairs have rubbed against the legs of the table over the past 4 1/2 years that I've owned it and so the paint has chipped in a few spots. Overall it's still in pretty good shape.

The table top is beautiful. And it seems sturdy enough. It is trivial to assemble. But the packaging and delivery was horrible. 4/5 for the table. 1/5 for the shipping.

The package had been punctured by something on the side about 2/3 the way to the top, possibly a small forklift. Whatever punctured the box made it through the cardboard and thin layer of foam to scratch off the paint on the skirt of the table on one side.

It's not enough damage to repack the box and drag it to a drop site to ship back. It is a relatively small spot and It is easily covered with some white paint. But, it is disappointing that my new table is already scuffed due to poor shipping and/or packaging before I even got it out of the box.

I am definitely not inclined to purchase such as item from Amazon again due to poor shipping and difficulty sending back such an item.

I'm torn about the reading for this review. I bought the natural and white table.

First the table is sturdy, well-built, and came packaged very well with no imperfections. I would've given it a 5-star rating if not for the following:

The seller failed to provide information that this table contains possibly harmful substances. Ironically, my infant son pulled the sticker off the bottom of the table. California usually labels things with lead in them, which makes me question if the paint possibly has lead in it. I'm torn about the reading for this review. I bought the natural and white table.

First the table is sturdy, well-built, and came packaged very well with no imperfections. I would've given it a 5-star rating if not for the following:

The seller failed to provide information that this table contains possibly harmful substances. Ironically, my infant son pulled the sticker off the bottom of the table. California usually labels things with lead in them, which makes me question if the paint possibly has lead in it. This is a GREAT table! Not one complaint about it. The top is solid butcher block that is finger jointed together. It's not veneer as someone reviewed, it's solid wood. It's a light maple color just as in the picture. It has knots in the wood which is normal for pine, but it has a thick varnish - you don't feel them, and it's certainly not unattractive. The top is totally smooth. It's also the exact size of 48" long. Someone said it was HUGE and not at all as stated. I don't see how that can be true. It's exactly as depicted. The legs are white and the paint is flawless. The legs come separate, wrapped and protected, and boxed - attached to bottom of table top. They attach to the top easily with 2 washers and a nut. The little wrench is included. I put it together myself - easy. I'm using this for a table to make my jewelry on (stamped metal) and I needed something solid, secure and with no flex. This is it. Great price, great product. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Oh and esthetically - it's a really nice farmhouse table. My craft room is mostly white and butcher block so this fit in perfect.

Bought this for my tiny family. Sturdy build and easy to assemble. The individual pieces comes light and study so that it can be assembled even easier. Growing up my family always sat at the table and enjoyed our food plus each others conversation and company. When I met my wife her family ate at the couch watching TV. This was a bad habit that I could not tolerate. Mostly due to the fact that eating on the couch is not a trait that have. I have many white shirts doused in steak or spaghetti sauce from attempting to eat on the couch, I am not sure how they do it..

Anyways, the table is not very big so you will need to figure out some sort of sitting arrangement. You can fit two small children on the side and an adult on each end. Which is perfect because I am planning on buying a wooden bench so the children can share on each side. My and my wife will take the ends since we pay the bill :D

So overall this table would perfect for two adults and four small children (not teenagers) at the most. Anymore and you might want to look elsewhere.
