Great for raking up pine cone scales
5 Stars
Great for raking up pine cone scales
I enjoy watching the squirrels in my back yard but they make such a mess when they are eating pine cones and leaving the scales all spread around. This rake makes it easy and fun to rake the scales up and put them in my primitive areas. The rake also does a great gob of removing the pine straw from the top of strubs. Very handy, well-made and fun rake to use!

3.0 out of 5 stars Quality Rake, Horrendous Label
Reviewed in the United States on April 22, 2021
This is a really well-made little rake. How do I know? Because I spent about 45 minutes with it about 12” from my face, digging into its nooks and crannies as I peeled the label from the tines. And I’m still not done! It’s absurd! The label shreds as you peel it so you’re left picking the backing off of the little tines with your fingernails. It’s even tucked in behind the roll of metal where the tines are inserted into the base. How did they even do that?! It seems deranged to be so upset about a label but I simply do not understand how this made it out of the factory. It’s that bad. There are labels that peel right off and I’d pay $5 extra for a rake that had one at this point. It’s unusable until you take the label off because it covers most of the tines and the tacky side is exposed between them on the raking side. Because of this, I’m knocking down the rating from 5 to 3 stars. The manufacturer knew how awful this was yet still put it out for sale rather than dump a shipment of crappy labels.
