The more I used this, the more I like it. The first few times, I thought it requires too much strength, did not chop onions any better than hand-chopping and was hard to clean. Forget all of that! It works well, chops beautifully and is easy to clean. Add to that, it saves a LOT of time and energy.

One caveat, however, this is our second replacement because the "ears or fulcrum points" that the chopper lid attaches to can break off thus leading to purchasing this replacement item. We will be more careful with this one.

I bought this chopper as a giftfor a friend. This is identical to the one I bought at least 10 years ago at Walmart. It is still in great condition except that the little cleaning fork lost one of it tines when I accidentally started the garbage disposal with it in it. The blades are still nice and sharp. Even celery fibers are easy to remove with the cleaning fork previously mentioned. I like that the reservoir has measurements marked on it so you know you've chopped the right amount for your recipe. The size of the cubes of veggies depends on how thick you slice them before chopping. I'm sure there are bigger, more sofisticated choppers out there but, for the price, I am very pleased with this one.
