I'm very glad I did! It works flawlessy, with no noisy signals. It's so simple that my 11 year old was able to pick up the controls quickly, too. While this doesn't have a TON of channels, it does the job it was purchased for and does it quite well!
Update: After several gigs with this I can say that it's durable and reliable. My ONE complaint is the non-standard power plug (hope I never lose it).
One of my primary uses of my setup is audio restoration of old, noisy, damaged tracks. This mixer is nice and quiet, it does not add any noise or distortion.
Cons:
No power switch. Well, I plug it in to my desktop surge protector and voila! Power switch.
Searingly, eye-blindingly bright bright blue power LED. A tiny aluminum-foil "hat" and a bit of scotch tape, and the light is reflected and diffused downward and outward, partially illuminating the labels. Handy in a dim/dark room.
I did have an issue with the first unit I received which was probably unique and not typical. The power supply uses a mini 3 pin DIN connector to connect to the mixer. With my copy I could not get the connector to fit in tightly so it would lose connection or have partial connection creating all kinds of havoc. It was so bad that event adjusting a knob on the unit might cause the loose plug to break contact. I contacted Amazon and discussed the issue with them and they offered to exchange it for a new one. A day later the new one arrived, and it works fine. The power cord on the new unit locks into the socket without much effort and is held solidly in place. I give this little mixer a rating of 5 stars and 2 thumbs up!

When I got my second speaker, I was wondering how in the world I could connect both sets to my controller, all while sounding great AND on a tight budget... I asked the question here IF you could hook up to powered (active) speakers to one controller and all the answers came back with YES, using this unit. Sadly, I had ordered another brand (one with very good reviews), which failed after only 5 months, so I ordered this one and all I can say is I really like it.
I had only been playing with my 2 speaker setup for a few days, when I hosted a lounge party with it for a couple dozen people, and everything sounded great. Using an RCA cable I was able to hook up to this mixer easily and then ran 2 TRS cables from the mixer to the speakers. Setup took a mere couple of minutes. I previously had issues with feedback when running my mic from either the DJ Controller or directly from the speakers. Hooking the mic through this mixer worked wonderfully, with no sign of feedback.
There are negatives that I have, although they have not prevented me from doing gigs (I DID subtract a star for the first of these):
- The power cable's plug that connects to the mixer is some sort of proprietary connector that doesn't "click" in or stay in very well for that matter. I had one time during dinner music where the plug disconnected from the mixer. Yup, it did, causing all music to go out. Had that been a paying gig, there could have been some serious issues. As it stands, I plugged it back in and kept going on. The other issue with a proprietary plug is that if it breaks, it MIGHT be hard to find a replacement.
-Sound Quality: I cannot quite put a finger on it, but this mixers sound is a little more tinny and lower than my previous, comparable mixer. To compensate for this I simply use the DJ Controllers volume/gain and bass/mid/treble knobs.
All in all, I DO like this mixer and would recommend it to others on a budget.

Único detalle, termina muy caliente después de una hora y media monitoreando mi señal dentro de lugar cerrado con aire acondicionado.
I have been DJing professionally for forty years,
and I have used many high end mixers and this is as good & even better than some!
I use this now, in conjunction with my DJ controller (DJ controller has a poor sounding mic input) plug controller into this & my mic and it works a treat!
I've used it in a very busy mid sized and also, a very large venue and it holds its own perfectly!
The build quality is very good,
The connectivity is good for a mixer at this price,
The sound is excellent, rich bass with crisp top end!
This mixer is as good as some that are at a much much higher price than this!
This mixer was recommended to me a musician friend who also loves it.
As for some reviews that say there is noise, hum etc from the mixer, I've not experienced that & it sounds perfect.
And others have said the power plug can come loose! Mine fits in solidly so no issues with that either! Maybe Bheringer have listened & sorted this out?
I may be wrong, but the poor reviews could be caused by users that have not connected it up properly, and/or used inferior cables!
All in all if Used correctly you will struggle to find a better mixer at this price!
If you google “best compact audio mixers 2018”
You will notice that this mixer comes out Top!

Le but premier, a savoir l'alimentation fantôme, fonctionne parfaitement.
