Product Description
From the Manufacturer
The Spinosaurus or "spiny lizard" is one of the longest known dinosaurs measuring up to 18 m in length, 6 m in height and weighing up to 9 tonnes. It is recognizable for its large back spines, which lead us to suppose that it had a sail used as a temperature regulator. The Spinosaurus, which lived in the Cretaceous period, was both a carnivore and a fish eater. Both long and narrow, and equipped with numerous straight teeth, the Spinosaurus skull is a similar shape to that of crocodiles.

THE MAJOR PREDATORS
The spinosaurus or "spiny lizard" is one of the longest known dinosaurs, measuring up to 18 m long, 6 m high and up to 9 tonnes. Easily recognizable by its very large dorsal spines, it is supposed that he possessed a veil fulfilling the function of thermal regulator. The Spinosaurus, which lived in the Cretaceous, was both carnivorous and piscivorous. Long, narrow and with many straight teeth, the skull of Spinosaurus is shaped like crocodiles.
THE MAJOR PREDATORS
The Tyrannosaurus lived about 70 million years ago and is one of the largest carnivorous dinosaurs. His name means "King of reptilian tyrants". With a gigantic body nearly 12 m long and teeth up to 20 cm, This biped with tiny arms could exceed 6 meters high and weigh more than 6 tons. Realistically, the model reproduced by Papo allows to admire the powerful musculature of the T-Rex. The articulation of the jaw highlights the impressive dentition of the Predator!

THE MAJOR PREDATORS
Remarkable with his rough ridge, its orange tails and its big claws, the Baryonyx has a fierce air. Papo detailed to perfection his little horn, his skull long and narrow and his nostrils located very behind. This carnivore did not go unnoticed! With large serrated teeth, he could stab the soft-fleshed fish that he caught with his large claws and long snout, allowing him to breathe underwater. His name comes from his impressive claw located on his thumb that he did not hesitate to show waiting for any prey. If his front legs are much smaller than his powerful hind legs, he remains ready to cut the momentum of his preda.

When I was shopping for a Spinosaurus, I could not believe the variation in appearance among the various Spinosaurus toys available. Some don't even look like a Spinosaurus to me. Speaking of "toys", while this is suitable as a toy, it could also be used for a collector's display. It is solid, detailed, and large. It is, using eye-ball measurements, approximately a foot long by 7 inches high. It has a nice weight to it as well.
As far as quality goes, an extreme amount of detail is present, as I have already mentioned. There are some seams visible, where the different pieces were glued together, which is somewhat disappointing, depending on what your perspective is on this. We bought it as a toy, so its really not a big deal.
Overall, this is a fantastic gift for any dinosaur fan. I will probably buy more from this brand, especially since my son loves them so much. This is the first Papo manufactured dinosaur I have ever purchased, and it was worth the money paid.
I'm going to be duplicating this review for all of the papo dinos that look really good.

As every Papo figure we've got, this one also looks amazing.
Bought it for my 6 year old, he loves it. Its very well made, great attention to detail. And very sturdy, it will last years!
