It rides so well, feels secure and is very durable. I got it caught on a rock in a rapid, had to swim out and then throw rope it in. It went over the rock, and several others as well as a small tree and came out of the water without even a scuff or scratch. And it's rated for up to class III whitewater, so you can take it almost anywhere.
I love it and I recommend it to anyone interested in inflatable kayaking.
Some people mentioned mold issues. We did not have any, For the most part we used them at least once or twice a week and did not put them back in their bags. We'd tipped them over to drain, wiped them down with a towel and folded them up. Usually just left them in the car/van until the next time we used them. Occasionally we would pump them up and let them air out if we hadn't used them recently.
We also purchased a rechargeable air pump which makes the set up a bit quicker. One of us pumps with the electric pump and the other finishes off the large side chambers with the hand pump. In less then 10 minutes both kayaks are ready to go.
We bought inexpensive paddles with the idea of trying other paddles. I am sure the right paddle would make a difference with speed. Any suggestions from other owners?
My only complaint would be the seat could be better but it isn't a big enough issue to cause us any regrets.
