The deer had almost eaten my plant to the ground, after using this spray it is coming back, the purple one was twice the size it is today when I bought it, finally growing thanks to the spray to keep deer away!

I started using this product to deter deer based on the recommendation of a local garden designer. I find it 1) smells better 2) can be alternated for the mint smell to keep deer from becoming oblivious and 3) it generally works well. For summer I use the concentrate in a two gallon sprayer with a long reaching wand.

I have a lot of hungry deer here. After spraying the first few times they bypassed the yard. Caution to future users if you’re sensitive to sprays and oils wear a mask when spraying to avoid breathing in the mist. Follow their directions for best results.

I bought this product as I was having a problem with deer eating out of my bird feeders on a nightly basis. I’d fill the feeder in the evening and the next morning all the seed was gone. I got the spray and after filling all the feeders, sprayed the feeder itself, the pole holding it up, and the ground nearby. It’s been almost three weeks now and the feeders haven’t been touched, except by birds. I also noticed that I no longer see squirrels and chipmunks feeding at the base of the feeders. I’m in the northeast and it’s that time of year (winter) when food can become scarce, so seeing animals wherever there is food is common. So far so good. I would have given this product 5 stars but for the price. It’s a bit pricey in my opinion.

I have tried other deer repellants. They smelled like rotten meat. Who wants their outside smelling like that? I have tried both the spice scent of this product and the citrus scent of their other product. Both are much more tolerable to the human nose and even that scent seems to go away in about a day or two. The product continues to work, though. Deer which used to regularly mow down any greenery in my garden never touch it anymore. It must change their eating patterns because I don't even see them coming around after I spray. It lasts a while too. Somewhere around 4 applications will last all spring and summer, and there are LOTS of deer in my area.

We have tons of deer in our area and my container plants are usually casualties, especially in late summer. I don't have a deer fence, so last year I gave this spray a try along with the DIY hack of hanging up some deodorant soap. I couldn't believe it when I got through the entire season without one plant being touched by the deer!

You have to be vigilant and re-apply every time it rains, and it does tend to get used up quickly. But for me the results were worth it.

I understand that deer differ in different regions, what might repel a deer in Carolina may not work in Mississippi or New Jersey -- but in the North Carolina Piedmont, this seems to be effective.

Last year deer ate everything in my flower beds - hydrangea, day lillies, , hosta, roses - you name it. This year I decided it would not happen again. I was very leary about buying anything because all I ever heard was nothing works. Wrong! I bought I Must Garden and sprayed my plants. Flower bed is full again as my plants are growing full steam ahead. It does work. I spray my plants about every 3 weeks. There is an odor for a few days but then it goes away. It is a minty odor and not bad unless you get in the path of it just as you spray. Getting ready to order my 3rd bottle.
