How Combat Gel Baits Work

Place many spots or dabs of gel near areas of roach traffic and suspected nesting areas. Gel can be placed in cracks, crevices, and corners where roaches hide.

Gel attracts roaches in search of food and water to the bait.

Roaches ingest the bait and return to die in their nest.

Insecticide Guide

Sprays are contact killers

Sprays only kill the pests you see. Roaches not sprayed continue to thrive inside the nest.

Gels kill at the source

Roaches eat the bait and return to the nest and die. Other roaches eat them and die, creating a chain reaction.

Baits kill at the source

Roaches enter station and eat the bait. They take the bait back to the nest, share the bait, killing other roaches and destroying the nest.

Product Description

Combat Max Roach Killing Gel formula attracts roaches with the food and water they need. Combat Max Roach Killing Gel starts killing both large and small roaches within a matter of hours. As a form fitting substance, Combat Max Roach Killing Gel is best used in cracks and crevices where roaches enter the home. Combat Max Roach Killing Gel kills both large and small cockroaches and can be used indoors or outdoors. Place baits throughout your home, so more roaches can find and eat the bait, resulting in a quicker and more thorough kill. This package includes one 2.1-ounce syringe of Combat Max Roach Killing Gel. For Indoor Use: 1. To apply gel: Remove cap from tip, touch tip to surface and depress plunger. Gel can be applied only as sports or in a line along cracks or crevices. For first application, apply gel in 4 dime-sized spots or several 1.4 to 6-inch lines per square yard. Recap tube after use. 2. Place many spots or dabs of gel near areas of roach traffic and suspected nesting areas. Gel can be placed in cracks, crevices, corners and spots where roaches occur. 3. Inspect gelt after one month and reapply if it is no longer visible. Refresh with a new application after 3 months. Gel cleans up with a damp paper towel. Discard towel after use.

Get the bait strips instead if you’re lazy.

Get the bait strips instead if you’re lazy.
So I ordered this on Amazon but cuz Im in Hawaii it was gonna take like 3 days to get here, and anyone with roaches know that’s 3 days too long!So I went to the store and saw they had the Combat Bait Strips (on sale 2 for $11) which I believe is just this gel in these ready to go packs that you can just peel and stick to wherever.Well long story short you cant stick the strips to anything cuz the adhesive sucks, so I just place them flat on the ground, shelves, cabinets etc. where I’ve seen roaches. The nice thing about the strips is they are pre-made and easy to dispose. So rather than getting goo everywhere or having to cut pieces of cardboard to make your own system, these strips are ready to go out the box. Just peel, place, and dispose when used up.Plus since the strips are all uniform, it’s easy to see if roaches are eating them, so you can easily identify the hotspots. The pack has 10 strips so I placed all 10 out. After the first night I saw 4 strips that were absolutely devoured, so I replaced them with 4 new strips (I recommend buying at least 2 packs). The second night the same 4 strips had been eaten, so I replaced them again. The third night the strips were left untouched, so I assumed these roaches are dead. Havent seen a roach since either. The roaches we have here are the really large ones (usually 1-2 in long) so the square bait stations don’t really work since I dont think they fit in even the ones made for “Large” roaches. So if u have similar size roaches u definitely need to go with the gel.Anyway so this product really works, I just would recommend the strips for easy clean up and monitoring.I still have this gel that I may use for later, but if you’re lazy like myself, the strips are easier to use in my opinion from a placement and cleanup standpoint.
