Silk-like comfort on a budget

This set was a much anticipated upgrade from our run-of-the-mill bed sheet sets of old. New house, new bed, new luxurious sheets. Life is good. :-)
Pros: Silky smooth sensation, activity friendly, good fit, nice looks, affordable.
Cons: Slippery (no joke, you will slide off the bed if not careful) but I knew that going in and don't mind it, fitted sheet tends to creep away from one side overnight I guess due to the directional nature of the fine thread pattern (no big deal, just have to adjust slightly in the morning when you make the bed), pillowcases tend to twist around pillow overnight and need adjustment as well.
Note: keep in mind these cons are all minor and are a direct consequence of the smooth, silky texture of the material itself so there's no way to avoid.
Bottom line: very good purchase, highly recommended. We plan to buy more sets in other colors (got the ivory now).

I love these sheets. They're great! Stay nice after wash and look amazing with my bed. Looks just like the photo. the black looks amazing with a black bed frame. Will purchase this again in a different color and re purchase the black satin sheets when needed. I expected bad quality from the price, but was super pleasantly surprised. fits my queen perfectly.

I have had these sheets now for months and haven't changed them aside from washing them. They haven't faded even after several washes and are still super comfortable. The sheets feel silky and I like that so I am still happy. I expected to have to re purchase them every six months because of fading/rips/the price I paid I expected lower quality but I am happy to report that they're still holding strong and look great~ I am going to purchase other sets from this listing in different colors.

For the price, I was not expecting much. I just thought I would try these before committing to expensive satin sheets. These sheets have surprised me. Very comfortable compared to other inexpensive cotton sheets. The only reason I don't give 5 stars is because the elastic is not strong enough to hold the bottom sheet tight so it ends up bunching up. Perhaps if I had a thicker mattress this wouldn't be a problem. But I bought sheet suspenders to hold it tight underneath and it does the job. Yes, they get slippery and my pillows and covers end up on floor if I don't keep them close. But the feel of them makes up for that inconvenience. I ordered the light color thinking it was off white from the pictures. They are actually a light yellow color. But it works with my bedroom. But if you want white or off white, you may be disappointed.

This all started with a pillow case. I have allergies and with pets wanted silk or satin pillow cases so hair won't stick to the case. We realized that with this set on sale we could get a whole set of sheets and pillow cases for less that what two satin pillow cases cost on Amazon. We were also intrigued by the idea of trying the sheets, and I figured that would be even better for my allergies. We washed them and put them on, and we have had two nights of sleeping on them.

First let me say, they seem constructed well. We have the ivory ones and they are a bit darker than we thought from the picture but prefer that as it won't show stains as much. After reading about color transfer we made sure to wash them well and haven't had any issues. The pockets are very deep on the fitted sheet, actually too deep for our mattress so there is extra fabric on the bottom sheet, it doesn't fit tight. But, it works and would work very nice for a thick pillow top bed. All in all these are very good satin sheets for the money. Therefore we are giving them a 5 star rating.

That said, if like us, you have never slept on Satin or silk sheets I'd like to give you several warnings. We have both had the worst two nights of sleep in our lives and are exhausted. We spent the whole night, each night chasing the bedding around the bed, picking it off the floor in the middle of the night, waking up cold when the bedding slips onto the floor, adjusting pillows that then slip again from your neck, and last night my wife's pillow popped out from under her neck and onto the floor. Any slippery shiny material will do this, so it's nothing wrong with this brand (therefore the 5 star rating), but we have decided we personally hate satin/silk sheets. Today we are putting the old cotton sheets back on and I'll try using the satin pillow case with the cotton sheets for my allergies (pet hair definitely can't stick to this material). Hopefully it won't be too slippery when used when cotton sheets.

If you are sure you like satin sheets and have experience sleeping on them then this is a great deal and decent product for you. If you are new to satin sheets then be warned, prepare to have the worse sleep of you life.

I ordered the ivory color of these and the color is true to the picture so no complaints there. I actually don't have many complaints outside of the fact that you truly get what you pay for. Satin sheets for $20, while cheap in cost, they are certainly cheap in quality. I purchased these simply because I have been contemplating getting some really nice ones for my bed however, I had never slept on satin sheets before so cheap ones were the way to go. I doubt that I will purchase nicer ones now.

A number of people commented on pillows sliding everywhere and other issues they were have. While I have experienced these too, I also wasn't really surprised by this notion. Satin is sleek and that is the beauty of it!

The fitted sheet was almost too big. My queen sized mattress is roughly 8 inches deep and I had to stuff the elastic band a good 6 or 7 inches underneath all the way around, which I suppose isn't really all that bad, but just annoying for me.

Overall, my point here is this: these sheets are a great way to go if you aren't sure you would like satin sheets. However, do not expect top of the line quality, you're spending $20 and that's it. They aren't fantastic, but they aren't terrible either.
