Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.

Customers have mixed opinions about the touch pad of the networking device. Some mention that it's a nice feature, and better for their wrists. They also like the mouse pad feature, as well as the fact that they can scroll with it. However, others say that the keyboard works fine, but the trackpad does not work when plugged into a USB 2. Customers are mixed about the ease of use of the networking device. Some mention that the keyboard makes this keyboard very easy to use, and the TouchPad is so much. It was an easy plug-and-play, and convenient. It is also an easier keyboard to train a new typer on, and does not take long at all to get used to typing on it. However, others say that the touchpad is very jumpy and hard to control, making it very hard to try to select something on the screen. It's a pity that you can't adjust the height since there's no legs in the back, and that the Touch Pad is not in a user friendly place.

Customers are mixed about the typing speed of the networking device. Some mention that the key action is great, and the integrated keypad makes transitioning to mouse entry easy. However, others say that it slows down typing and decreases accuracy. The trackpad and R/L click are still a bit sluggish, and it often lags.

Customers are dissatisfied with the durability of the networking device. They mention that it's poorly made, the keys don't feel solid, and the mouse pad feels very cheap. The mouse pad area is faulty and will not last for any extended period of time. The touch pad section is of poor quality and doesn't work smoothly. The plastic used is subpar and it looks like it'll wear out quickly.

Customers are dissatisfied with the buttons on the networking device. They mention that the touchpad buttons stop working, the left mouse button malfunctions, and the buttons work only intermittently. Some say that the buttons are not sensitive and have weird, buggy behavior.

Let's just start off with saying I'm not the biggest techie out there. I've always used ergonomic keyboards and wireless mice in the past. But my wrist has always been an issue and now my index finger was killing me at the joint from mouse scrolling. It hurt so bad I had to tape it at night to keep it straight. (I'm a tax preparer and this is my busiest time late March - early April.)
Trolling through Amazon for an alternative I thought I would give this a try. It came yesterday and I got rid of the wireless keyboard/mouse combo and plugged this right in. No software to install and works right out of the box. I'm not going to miss the wireless keyboard quirky keystrokes due to wireless connectivity issues.
It does take a little getting used to, but so far I've been very happy with it. Yes, I find myself reaching for the mouse, but I'll get used to the touch pad. I'm not the worlds greatest touch pad user since I've always used a mouse in the past. I did have someone suggest to me to turn up the speed on the mouse pointer settings and that made a real difference in the control over the mouse. I use 2 monitors and it was 2 or 3 swipes of the touch pad to navigate from one screen to another before. Now it's much faster.
I read some reviews that it was really loud or cheaply made. Looks good quality to me, and it is actually quieter than my Microsoft ergonomic wireless keyboard.
The touch pad is textured and pretty nice I think maybe a little small. One quirk I had to get used to was the keyboard spacebar. I'm used to the MS ergonomic spacebar that is one long key - this is actually 2 smaller keys. If you're used to hitting the spacebar in the center like I was you'll have to make a small adjustment in your typing. It's been less than a day and I'm used to it now.
I'll update in a couple of months and let you know what I think.
Pros:
* It's rare to find a keyboard and touchpad combo then add to that the fact you can scroll with this touchpad, similar to a wheel on a mouse - nice touch!
* I like the solid touch to the keys - not difficult to press them but just enough spring-back to give it a solid feel...not a cheap feel, at all.
Cons:
* The touchpad is tiny and way off-center to the left. For an ergo keyboard I'm having to put my right hand/arm into an odd position to use it. I understand they're trying to cater to both the R and L handed folks but this would be far more ergo-friendly if it were under the 10-key, or under the 4 arrows...and a bit larger.
* Price: I was a bit shocked at how much more this was than a good, Microsoft ergo kb. Could be the price is higher due to the pandemic gripping the world and demand is much higher, idk.
* The keys are too close together for a good ergo kb. Maybe this was designed for a smaller person but the Microsoft kb that this replaced has a much wider placement of the keys and far more natural for my build. I have to turn my arms in at about a 35-degree angle (or so) from my elbows to my hands, to get them on the keys.
I do like and recommend this product so thus give it the 4 stars.
EDIT TO ADD: I started having all kinds of problems with the touchpad...cursor going all over the screen or getting 'stuck' in one corner no matter what I did. I restarted the machine, no help. Then I remembered I had plugged the USB into a USB hub versus directly to the machine. I moved it to the machine and - voila, it works fine.
I thought this tip may help someone else.
Wanted to lower the rating of the keyboard hopefully to encourage the manufacturer to fix the problem of the touchpad causing the mouse to vibrate on the screen when the finger is on it and the repeated letters when pressing keys. This used to be a one of a kind outstanding keyboard. Now it just gives me headaches trying to work around the issues.
I have bought three external touchpads, all of which have not exhibited the problem of this keyboard, so I know it is not my computer. Even though the external touchpads work it has been a hassle having another device to have to reach for to use. Please bring back the old parts and I would buy another of these keyboards in a heartbeat!
Previous:
I have used tthis keyboard over the last 3 years. I love the design of a ergonomic keyboard integrated witth a touch pad. It is the only one of its type that I have been able to find. It is very simple to use since you just plug and play and there are lots of good hot keys. I recenttly had to replace one because the ttouchpad sttopped responding.
TThe new keyboard I received had very serious problems of having the pointter on the screen vibrate wildly while my finger is on tthe touchpad. This makes it very hard tto try to selectt sometthing on tthe screen. Also when ttyping lettters will get repeatted. As you can see the letter "t" is the worst. I stopped trying to correctt the repeattted letters so you can see how bad of a problem it is.
I have called ttechnical support for help and tthey didn't have any idea of how to fix it. I have returned and sent back new keyboards 3 times already and all tthe keyboards have had tthe same problems (some worse tthan others). The original keyboard from 2015 that I use att home doesn'tt have tthese problems so it is my guess that they have switched to using inferior parts for cost cutting reasons or their suppliers have been sending in subpar components.
I really love tthis keyboard and like I said their isn'tt another one like it on the market so I is very sad for me that the keyboard has become almost unusable.

Cumple lo que promete
The friendly tech support guy said to use my standard mouse configuration control to adjust the touchpad functions but the touchpad is not a mouse and so the speed and sensitivity adjustments available in the mouse configuration were not adequate.
In general the construction seemed solid and the keys were quite stiff, "clicky" and noisy (don't use this if you have others working close by). The touchpad is small and without being able to configure it properly it ends up needing multiple drag motions to get the cursor across a large screen even when the "mouse" speed is set to highest.
As an ergonomic replacement for a regular keyboard and mouse this isn't adequate and you'd do much better with a Microsoft Natural Ergo 4000. which is also much cheaper. Too bad - I'd hoped this would work for me.
But... the touchpad was useless, the cursor would jump randmomly, and when, for instance, trying to move the cursor from right to left, it would first jump from left to right before moving, making you have to swipe over and over to get it to where you wanted it to go. Absolute garbage. Returned it within a few days as it was driving me nuts.
Too bad these are made so cheaply, it is exactly the keyboard I was looking for, but perhaps with a larger touchpad. Wireless would be awesome.
