Our old wheelbarrow was rusting out on us and it was time for a change. We decided to purchase this Rubbermaid carry all and we are happy we did.

First let me say that Commercial is the wrong description for this wheelbarrow clone. It has been designed for light duty around the yard, not for carrying huge and heavy loads. My wife puts her tools and other lawn gear in the Rubbermaid and easily either pushes it or pulls it around the yard. She loves it.

We paid $58.00 for our Rubbermaid on Amazon and I notice that the price has risen dramatically. The Rubbermaid was delivered completely assembled in a large cardboard box. Once out of the box it is ready to use. It is perfect for grass clippings, leaves, yard debris, trash, tools, etc. The handle is high enough to push and pull comfortably and it moves easily over the lawn. It appears to be well made, but only time will tell about its durability. So far so good.

I just bought my second lawn cart. I had my previous one for probably 10 years. Maybe more. And I have loved it. It was extremely durable and easy to maneuver as yard cards go. It has a slightly smaller capacity compared to other carts, but this means overloading doesn't result in a cart that can't be moved! I found the capacity to be sufficient. I also like the feature of the depressed shelf near the handle where I could keep my tools, waste bags and small plants to be planted. I have found multiple uses for it. I highly recommend it. The tan color also makes it attractive enough that when left in the yard it doesn't look unsightly.

This is my 2nd Rubbermaid garden cart. It's nicely lightweight. The 1st one lasted several years. I'm not allowed to use my wife's cart any longer since I used it like a wheelbarrow. I overloaded the previous one in the bottom deck cracked. Don't get me wrong, this can handle several bags of topsoil. I just tossed a large shovelful of wet sand into it from about 3 feet up. My wife loves this cart. The design is good and it stays put even on unlevel ground because of the 2 wheel 2 peg system. She also likes the small garden tool storage near the handle.

Interesting, okay, but a little underwhelming

I was debating whether or not to give this 4 stars. I don't absolutely hate it. I like the concept; it's almost there. It's easy to see where they were going with this.

At 5'4", this was even a little too short for me. Not bad, and it's certainly a somewhat useful cart, but i found i had to bend a bit to pull it around. One's back could get tired quickly. Mine did after a couple of trips with some heavier items. If you pull it up in order to keep your back straight, then the front is too low and either items fall out or the front hits the ground.

It could be serviceable for easily moving around a small load of dirt and/or garden tools. It doesn't have as much capacity as a wheelbarrow or full sized carts. It comes fully assembled, so that part is nice. Use it right out of the box. It's nice looking and easy to clean.

I will use this cart for moving pots and garden tools from point A to point B, and for holding twigs and small branches after pruning bushes. It would probably also be good for filling those paper cleanup bags for your yard - one bag at a time. I will even use it to ferry around a bag of dirt or mulch if a regular wheelbarrow isn't available.

But, if you want to do heavy duty work or move large or heavy stuff (or if you're 62 inches or taller), get a good-sized wheelbarrow or other type of full-sized utility cart.

Still, I give it credit for being a "good idea". It's not completely useless and it will get pressed into service. Recommended for light duty and short people.

This is a replacement for a roughneck that I had for about 20 years. This is one of the best products I have ever used and it has been used for everything from hauling rocks to carrying raked up leaves to using as a cart for plants I needed to move from one location to another. The cart part of my old roughneck is still good after 20 years, it was the wheels that gave out. I would recommend this product to anyone who gardens or farms. It is much easier to use than a wheel barrow and does many of the same jobs with a lot less effort (and I have used wheel barrows in the past). Great product.

I have had this workhorse for about 6 weeks, and I am pretty impressed so far. I previously owned the same 'type" made by Rubbermaid. This one is a little different, but not by much. The plastic seems a little thinner, and the holes for the tools a little bigger. I don't need the cup-holder, doubt I will need to use it - too much dirt flying around. I had the previous one for about 15 - 20 years until the bottom was seriously cracked when I dumped a (too big) rock into it. Should have known that if it were too heavy for me to carry, I shouldn't have dropped it into the wheelbarrow..... It is the perfect size to hold the mulch from a 2 cu. ft bag. For me (I am 70 years old, but in pretty good shape), it handles well when filled with the mulch, or whatever else I need to put into it..

We have a 45 degree slope in our side yard and I didn't think I could wheel barrow from the front to the back without the barrow tipping over. So far I love this cart, it is sturdy, easy to maneuver, and did not tip over. I loaded it up with about 170 pounds of blocks and was able to pull it easily across the yard. Pushing was not possible due to my lack of upper body strength, but with a lighter load such as weeds/yard clippings I'm sure I will be able to push it without issue. It's already been worth the price and I know I will get a ton of use out of it for years to come. Highly recommend!

I would highly recommend this wheelbarrow to anyone. I am actually replacing my old Rubbermaid wheelbarrow which had lasted approximately 20 years! It is lightweight yet extremely durable. I love it as it is easy to steer around and get into tight spaces. It is actually quite deep so you can get a lot of yard debris in it. I like the fact that it doesn't have any long handles sticking out and I can attach my gardening stuff on the inside ledge or the handle. Excellent value.

I'm only 5'2, and It's lightweight and easy for me to maneuver, even over gravel paths and bark mulch. This is much easier for me to use than a traditional wheelbarrow, and even if only lasts this summer it will have been well worth the money. That said, it appears to be very well made and I imagine it will last a lot longer than that.

I bought this to clean out my horse stalls. I have two horses and clean out their stalls daily, they are out most of the time so I don't quite fill this each day - even with two horses so that is a bonus. Sadly last summer it started splitting at the front where I empty it. It split about 4 inches down. I have tried all kinds of glue to put it back together but eventually had to retire it. I was sad that it did not last a year as I hate the big bulky wheelbarrows. I would buy this again if not for the fact that when it breaks in the plastic it becomes pretty useless.
