Directions

Adults and children 2 years of age and older: Brush teeth thoroughly, preferably after meals or at least twice a day, or as directed by a dentist or doctor. Children under 6 years of age: Use a pea-sized amount and instruct in good brushing and rinsing habits. Children under 2 years: Consult a dentist or doctor.

I have a tendency to get sores in my mouth...some sort of a viral thing. When I do, toothpaste that has sls (sodium lauryl sulfate) aggravates my situation. I need an sls free toothpaste. That is what this toothpaste is. It is the only thing to use.

I'm on my second tube of this and I'm not sure it lives up to its claim fully. It does seem to be improving my gum health, but it doesn't seem to be whitening my teeth any. In fact, I'd say the opposite. My teeth seem to be turning gray. I haven't done anything to my diet in any significant way, so it's hard not to point to the toothpaste. I also think that my mouth doesn't stay as fresh for as long as more conventional toothpastes, though that is something I've noticed with any natural toothpaste. I'll use the rest of the tube and if i note any different results, I'll update this review.

Update - I couldn't get through the 2nd tube. There was no doubt my teeth were turning gray.
