Super comfortable with great memory foam so far (two weeks breakingvthem in now). The sponge sole feels so good on my feet. Bunions, small cyst on bottom of foot, and psoriasis on the arch and soles of my feet causing painful blisters and scar tissue. I almost cry when I put them on because my feet feel pain free.
I found the fit to be true to size. They have more grip than a standard thong, therefore the big toe doesn't have to work so hard.
The bottom sole has a great non slip grip. Flexible sole.

While the sole was a bit too firm to be called ‘pillow-soft’, it was the designer’s decision to place an embroidered logo under my heel that I question. Have you ever walked with a pebble in your shoe? Point made. The top strap was firm and structured under the thin terry—uncomfortable. The strap between the toes, was a bit thick. If the toe strap was soft, then it might’ve been okay—but wouldn’t you just know it—nope. I hope the manufacturers get this message —placing a very thin soft layer over a firm hard material does not make a ‘soft’ feel. I’m supposing the choices were made for outdoor durability—but I wanted a super comfortable pair of padded flip flops to wear around the house. This was not it and for a $40 thong slipper, I better get exactly what I want.

UPDATE:
After they were ‘broken in’, they became my ‘go to’ shoe. Around the house, around the neighborhood, on errands, they are very comfortable and very durable. And I’m writing this portion of my review a full year and six months after the original purchase.

I just ordered 2 new pairs and surprisingly, they did not feel at all the way I described at my first purchase. It’s possible the designers and fabricators made some changes, but if nothing has changed, apparently I was in a snarky, frustrated mood when I first received them— I should have waited a week for my review. My apologies.

I have been wearing Acorn slippers for years and I always come back to the spa thongs. They are the ONLY slippers that don’t hurt my feet. I always have multiple back up pairs of these that’s how much I love them. I’m a size 7 and I buy size small(5-6) and they fit perfect. They may seem a little tight at first but they stretch a tiny bit and fit like a glove. I have bought size mediums as well and they are okay but I find they stretch out a little too much and flop on my feet a little too much. If they ever discontinue them I would buy 100 pairs, that’s how much I love them.
