Can't complain about the price vs quality. It is a decent bag & it appears to hold air well.This is not a beginner bag; it is actually smaller than the size would suggest. That said, I made the move on the extra large size --same brand,decent quality. This is where I need to start.

This review is for the 6x9 version of this speed bag.

The 6x9 version of this bag is better suited for beginners. The 5x8 may prove to be too small for beginners, so the 6x9 is a better bag for newbies.

Looks - This bag is an old school style of bag with a nice fat belly and a nice light weight leather build. The red color is striking and contrasts nicely with the black laces and the black welting. It has a big white Title logo on it, but it it is not gaudy or overdone. The leather on this bag looks nice and overall this bag is good looking.

Performance - This is a light weight bag. It has an okay bounce to it but like all Title speed bags if you change to the orange bladder you will get a livelier bag and it will bounce better. I run 3 to 4 PSI in my speed bags and at 3 to 4 PSI with the orange replacement bladder this bag can move nicely without having to really lay into it. As stated it is light weight but it is not the lightest bag that Title has. If you compare it to the Title Atomic Pro it is a little bit heavier, but then when compared to the Title Gyro it is a lot lighter.

Leather - The leather is of decent enough quality. It is not super high quality leather, but it is soft, smooth and easy on the hands, even when not using wraps or gloves. I see it lasting a long enough time.

This is not my favorite series of speed bag from Title, but it is still a good overall bag, and has been in their catalog for quite a bit of time. One thing is that this bag has a very large opening when you unlace it, so it is one of the easier bags to change out the bladder in. Also the price of this bag is very good and is a good $10 to $20 cheaper than some of Title's other speed bags.

Let me start by saying I'm extremely new to boxing. I wanted a fun way to get exercise, and therefore picked up boxing. I quickly found that buying sub-par boxing equipment gets you no where in your training. I research every piece of equipment I buy to make sure I'm getting the best for my money.

This bag has been my favorite piece of equipment thus far. After reading a ton of reviews for other bags, I was overly worried about having to blow up a speed bag constantly. I have been pummeling this speed bag for the past week, every day, 40 minutes a day. Still haven't had to pump it up. I assume that over time every speed bag will gradually lose more and more air, but this is a solid piece of equipment that I see lasting a long time. Definitely spend the little extra for a bag that won't deflate after every session.

I was also worried about the size of bag I should get. I chose the 6" x 9" bag and I think it's perfect for me. I don't have much experience with speed bag size to give recommendations to other noobies, but as a noobie, I endorse this size. Not overly big or small, and with a little practice I'm already hitting it at a really decent pace. You don't even have to hit it very hard for some great rebound.

A couple of extra points; 1) I recommend investing in a good speed bag swivel. I own the Everlast double end stand which has the basic white ball bearing swivel. You'll notice an instant difference in your speed bag control by upgrading to a better swivel. 2) One negative of this bag is the TITLE patch. If you hit the bag with bare hands, you'll feel some chafing from the patch. This is easily fixed by wearing some hand wraps. 3) It says a lot that I have seen the TITLE brand being used by the pros in their training. This is what attracted me to TITLE in the first place.

I bought 2 yellow ones and multiple, different styles of swivels and none of it was any good. Title needs to rethink their QC. I took a chance on this one considering it was lower priced. This is a great bag for the price... would highly recommend this one...this is the first title product I can recommend...

The speed bag is awesome, but even better was the service. I am a soldier in Afghanistan and ordered the speed bag as a tool to relieve stress in my down time. So, a speed bag was shipped and it did not retain air, I called Title and emailed amazon working together they replaced the bag quickly. I am extremely content with the speed bag, but even better the service. I will certainly order Title equipment and order from amazon again. This is our second one to purchase.
Our first bag lasted about 6 years (regular use) in our gym and was beginning to fall apart. The bladder lasted about 3 years which we contacted Title directly to order a new one...no problems there.

We occasionally put a few pumps of air in it and it's back to a good bounce.
So for home use it should last for years.

This is probably one of title's better bags. This and the black patent leather bag are very nice bags. This comes in 5x8 and 6x9 so there should be one for any mid or advanced bagger. It's shape makes it forgiving to hit as it has a large sweet spot. The colored title bags are also good bags if you change out the butyl bladders for latex ones. This bag has a butyl bladder but it doesn't have the dead feeling that the colored title bags have. I would say that this is a bag you can learn on and grow your skills with.
