Nice and durable, but still not nearly as tough as a wood filler epoxy. But that’s a whole different thing.
I bought a medium sized tub. The problem I have had with any filler/binder product is that they dry out and become useless.
So far, so good. Let’s see how this material in its packaging lasts. I’ll update my review if needed. I hope not.
This was great. I find it super messy, but I was completely satisfied.
Here was my technique. I scooped some out and put it on a paper plate as I didn't want the whole tub to dry out. I then used a finger to smear it into the nail holes. After doing a few, say a few feet of base board, or one side of the door trim I would go over it with a damp/wet paper towel. Just very gently to smooth it off. I found that this completely eliminated the need to sand the holes afterwords! This does make the process a little messy. Filler all over your fingers, a billion wet paper towels that you can't just set anywhere (You don't want random filler to dry onto your floor). But using the fill/paper towel technique I was able to fill the holes without sanding. I prefer the temporary mess to the added step.
