I have to blame myself for not paying close attention to the specs and what they are saying. I have bought inner tubes that have a size range of 1.75 to 2.25, but never thought a tire should be listed like this (and still don't). The tire I received is 1.95 and it does fit my 26 inch wheel. The bike just looks a little odd now because I do have a 2.25 wide tire on the front. If I had realized what I was buying, then I would of bought a pair or gone up a notch and paid the extra $5 to get a 2.25 inch wide tire (or buy a different tire). The tire is fine and since I am deployed on a US Military base overseas I am not going to return the tire, it take weeks for orders to get out here and I would just rather ride my bike than wait. I don't know if 1.95 is the standard for buying this tire or if it gives the seller leeway to give you anything in the range of 1.75 to 2.25. They should just list the tire as 1.95 if that is what they are going to sell.I ran a dry erase marker over the numbers on the tire so they would show up in a photo.

This is my 3rd purchase of this 26" tire over 4 years. Consistent quality. Fits the 26" rim perfectly for 3 bikes used on improved trail riding. About 90 miles/week 6 month's/yr. Easy install, it's a tight fit and needs to be. Let it sit out of the box for a couple hours prior to install to get it's shape. I believe the rubber is softer than some others, perhaps giving it perceived better traction on pavement. When worn, this tire has wear markers, which seem to be nylon threads appearing with ~25% tread remaining.

I have not really put them to the test performance wise but overall I am very happy with the quality of the tires and if i needed more would come back for more. These tires sold for 5 dollars less than what the exact same ones sell for at Walmart. I didn't have much difficulty unfolding from the packaging and installing on the bike. They were a little more stiffer to get on over the rim with the last bit but not impossible and I would have expected it to be more stiffer anyways because they are brand new tires. I am really impressed with the tread pattern as you can see in the picture I provided it looks a lot better than the picture provided in the ad. By the way, the 26" universal tire does in fact fit a 26-1.95" wheel very nicely! Overall I am very happy with the tires.

I just want to add this even though I have not actually used it yet. I do a lot of cycling (7500 KM'S per year or more) and go through tires quit easily but do not want to spend 40 to 100 dollars on tires. So after price comparison I found that amazon was the best place to purchase this Bell product. You can go to Walmart to check your self since they carry the exact same item but is about 5 Dollars more.
When I have used this product for some time I will do a more complete review.

Well it is exactly what you pay for. But I have to say it good quality product. I have been riding the bicycle all summer. It hold up very well. It was very easy to install. The grip it very good. I am not a person who rides off road or anything but works very well in the parks and gravel roads. More than anything else it was very good value for money. If you are in the market for tyre that is good and yet doesn't break the bank, I highly recommend these.
