    I just bought this for my 1 year old daughter and am so happy I did so! It is so spacious in side, even I can get in and play with her for hours. I keep seeing things about a secret passage however due to safety the newest model does not have one, which I am more than fine with becuase it still has a ton of fatures that my little girl loves and will continue to love for years to come. Because this is outside on a patio we put down indoor/outdoor carpet on the inside of the cottage which adds a special touch and is soooo cute! We also strung a row of lights at the top of the roof for light in the evenings...the roof is high enough so I don't have to worry about her reaching them and pulling them down. My husband put the cottage together in less then 30 minutes! super easy! I am so happy with my purchase....well worth the money!

    Very nice playhouse. I bought it for my 2 year old grandson and he likes it. Putting it together was fairly easy (my daughter was able to do it with an extra pair of hands). Unfortunately, 4 bolts were missing but we managed without them. We discovered that we were sent a used house so we called customer service. There were some decals installed in the wrong places when it arrived. Amazon refunded us 20% and we were satisfied.

    Easy to assemble (but we did put one wall on backwards and decided to embrace that as a design choice by adding silk flowers to the built-in "shelves" that were now on the outside). A power screwdriver is helpful.

    We selected this house based on the height and the "extras" included. The height accommodates adults and older children. The drop down table is used a lot. We added a chair and cooking implements.

    The kids love it! My only regret is that I bought it during the Winter months so they can't really play with it most days. But come Spring, it's going to be awesome! I do wish it came with the chair shown in the pictures.

    I'm not sure why people are saying it's flimsy. It's pretty solid, like all the Step 2 things I have bought. It's the only reason I would dare pay that much for a toy. It was simple to put together, although I would suggest having someone else help at least hold things steady. I did it alone and it took an hour or so.
