I looked everywhere to find a wine rack that I would absolutely Love. This wine rack I Love, because I made it mine and I am here to tell about it. Just like buying a house, you know it when you see it. I read all the reviews and looked at all the images over and over before I purchased this wine rack. I also like many others purchased wood from Home Depot to make shelves. I received the wine rack on a Wednesday. It took my wife and I just an hour to put it together. (no problems) That Friday I went to Home Depot and purchased 46 dollars worth of Oak for the shelves. (and you do need shelves with this rack) That same day I sawed corners into the top shelve to make it fit secure. I did not have the same luck with the two bottom shelves because the guy at Home Depot did not cut the dimensions correct. I needed to trim off more which I could not do with my hand saw. The bottom shelves are a bit crooked and just sitting on top but it still worked for me. After sanding down the wood, I pre-stained it and applied a thin layer of polyurethane. I let it dry overnight and the next day it came all together. My Wine Rack is beautiful sturdy and once again I Love it, because I made it mine. Top Shelf 11" X 36" Two bottom shelves 11" X 13" All 3/4" thick

Style: 3 Drawer Storage ShelfVerified Purchase
After looking in many stores (Lowe's, HD, At Home, Living Spaces, etc.) for a short baker's rack to display plants under our dining room bow window, I couldn't find anything that wasn't either garish or flimsy that wasn't outrageously expensive. I didn't want a tall bakers rack to cover up the window as it is our morning sunlight. So this Celtic 3 drawer bakers rack was fine and took me all of 15 minutes to assemble (and I'm 60+ and female). The bolts all fit perfectly and tightened with the hex key easily. The unit is very sturdy (especially compared to what was in the stores) and the baskets are also sturdy with the separate bottom piece keeping them in square. Note that there is about 1/2 inch gap on the corners of the baskets that means things could fall out, but since I don't plan to store anything with little pieces in them, it will be fine for me. It also came with wall anchors to keep it from falling over, but I'm not going to install them. Overall, it is a good purchase for moving plants from my kitchen counter and I'd recommend it to anyone.

The shelves on the other hand are not very handy. The metal strips are not level with each other and don’t look that good either. I gave this item high marks because it is a great starter piece that can look and be great with just a little work.
As I said I made the mounting holes on the glass racks a bit bigger so when I mounted them they would accept a normal sized wine glass base. I also added some oak boards to turn this form a simple wine rack into a very nice dry bar that fits very well in a small area. An extra $40 in wood, stain and varnish made this a beautiful piece.
