Important information
Safety Information
100% Safe and Natural. Manufactured at a GMP Certified Facility.
Ingredients
B. animalis lactis*, L. acidophilus, L. rhamnosus, L. salivarius, L. plantarum, L. reuteri, Inulin (prebiotic) stearic acid.
Directions
Wellness Directions: Mix one economical scoop included (1/8 tsp) to their food daily. We suggest 5-6 weeks of consistent use to establish lasting improvement. As with any positive diet change, expect to see a change in stool and gas at first. Stool elimination and gas may increase with gut activity. This is a good indication of detoxifying from existing pathogens; understand this is temporary. We suggest starting off with a fraction of a serving and gradually increase while your pet adapts.

The vet recommended Cytopoint injections along with a shampoo for fungus/yeast. After the first injection, I thought we found a miracle! It worked so well, itching and licking stopped, there are no side effects as it is a biologic. Unfortunately, after about 6 months of monthly injections, the effectiveness wore off. I was lucky if the shot lasted 2 weeks before the itching returned. The entire time on Cytopoint, she still had seborrheic and inflamed skin - the shampoo was not helping. She was on this combination for over 2 years (trying different shampoos along the way) and I was bathing her at least two time a week, but she was still greasy and within a day she smelled bad.
Fast forward to 2 months ago. She got small sore on her neck, I thought it was from scratching. It was healing and I took her for a Crytopoint injection. About 2 weeks later, I saw this huge sore on her neck above the one that had healed, dripping with blood. I freaked out and called the vet and took her right in. It was a nasty hot spot, which she has never had! Since the Cytopoint was clearly no longer effective, the vet recommended Apoquel. I had her on this exactly 14 days and it did stop the itching but she had VERY bad side effects. Panting, increased thirst, increased hunger, acted strange, couldn't relax and the hot spot would not heal, it kept breaking open and bleeding! I did research and learned that Apoquel suppresses the immune system. I stopped her immediately from this drug. Within 2 days off the Apoquel, the side effects were gone and the hot spot scabbed over and within a week it was completely gone. I asked the vet if I could give her Claritin (just the regular not the D) and she said yes, 1/2 pill once a day (she weighs 16 lbs).
At my wits end, I was researching probiotics for dog allergies and came upon this product. I was so desperate at that point, I would have tried anything safe to help my baby feel better. I started her on one scoop per day (I give her a little over a full scoop now). It is such a small scoop, I just knew it wouldn't work. I am SO happy I was wrong!! Within a week, I noticed her hair was not as greasy and she didn't have that awful smell. The skin on her stomach is now beginning to turn pink again (after just 3 weeks on this), instead of red and inflamed. The constant scratching and licking has subsided. The hair on her back is starting to grow again (it had gotten pretty thin and not much growth). AND, I'm bathing her just once a week. I also found this shampoo (also purchased on Amazon) worked WAY better than the one the vet gave me and it's cheaper: BEXLEY LABS Curaseb Benzoyl Peroxide Dog Shampoo.
I'm hopeful that keeping her on this probiotic along with Claritin and the shampoo that I will continue to see improvements. I can tell she is feeling better, she is playful again rather than distracted by itching and licking. The probiotic might not work for all dogs, but it has for mine - It is certainly worth trying! I only wish I knew about this 2 years ago! By the way, there must be no flavor to this powder, I mix it with her dry + wet food combo and she eats it up (she is an extremely picky eater, but she doesn't seem to notice this).
As she grew into a full sized lab (she's now ~75 lbs.), the skin blemishes became dark, surface scabs. I would have to bathe her once a week; and dig, with my nails, each scab from her skin. They were mostly on the surface/epidermis & superficial. But, if I let it go to 2 weeks, she would bleed from me removing the scabs. I never let it get to three weeks, so I have no idea how out of control it may have gotten, had I let it.
3 vets opinions -> all thought it was an allergic reaction, sensitive skin, etc. All treated with antibiotic and discussed skin cream for irritations/eczema (I never tried, but i just assume it was 1% hydrocortisone).
A friend that one may assume is a bit of a hillbilly and has nothing meaningful to offer in regards to medical advice, took one look and said it was a yeast infection. He also said that he had a friend whose dog had the same problem that they quelled by giving it yogurt -- presumably because of yogurt's bacteria content.
So I figured what the hay...
Mind you, I don't mess around. I give her 1/2 a teaspoon per serving (she eats just under 2 servings of 2 cups of dry food per day). I sprinkle it on top, and it doesn't even phase her (it's tasteless). I don't need to mix it in, hide it, etc.
The first thing I noticed was that her coat became very oily. This is actually quite normal as she's a swimming dog (Labrador); her coat was just always dry (and maybe even a bit thin). Hindsight, her coat (she was a puppy!) shouldn't have been thin. My old labs always had this same oily coat. The fact that her coat was dry was a problem, NOT an idiosyncrasy.
So we kept on as normal, her bathing; me scratching.... Until finally, I can say her scabs are no longer! Nor are her UTIs! Even the underlying blemishes (that I always assumed were like birthmarks) disappeared. I would say it took about 2 months of everyday application until she experienced full "recovery".
Needless to say, I am very happy with this product. (Not so happy with the veterinarian community in my locale)
All of that being said, I am typically not the type of person to take time out of his day and write a review on Amazon...
They have (now, possibly "had") a 3-pack deal of this on Amazon which I ordered. When it arrived, there was (to my dismay!), but one container of 360-servings. I googled(why hasn't that verb passed spell check yet, lol) Nusentia and got a phone number. Not even 2 minutes on the phone -- fixed. They're sending out my other 2 containers tomorrow....
Guess what? You get a good review. Here are 5 stars and a loyal customer.
Thank you for the product (and the customer service)!!!!

Let me share some background on my dog's situation. My dog is 13 years old and currently in stage 2 of CKD (Chronic Kidney Disease). It's been over two years since she was diagnosed with CKD. We had been feeding her Purina Pro Plan with probiotics for over six months, as it was recommended for kidney health, but there wasn't any significant improvement or deterioration. However, after reading positive reviews, I decided to switch to Probiotic Miracle Dog Probiotics. The problem was that on the very day she started this new supplement, she began vomiting and having diarrhea, all in one day. It's possible, of course, that the sudden change in diet or my inability to adjust the dosage properly might have caused this. I gave her a break for a few days and then gradually reduced the amount when I reintroduced it. Every time, it led to diarrhea. I tried adjusting the dosage over the course of a month, but the issue persisted. So, I applied for a return on Amazon and got a refund. I didn't return the product. I just kept it at home.
A few months ago, my dog's condition suddenly worsened, and she stopped eating, which led to a week-long hospitalization. After being discharged, she developed constipation. she was passing stool in small rabbit-like pellets, and the problem was that the amount was drastically reduced. It seemed like she was spreading one day's worth of stool over 3-4 days. Monitoring urine and stool output is crucial for kidney health, so this was extremely concerning. Giving more water or changing her food didn't make a significant difference in his stool output. At this point, I thought it would be better for her to have diarrhea than not being able to pass stool at all. That's when I decided to reintroduce Probiotic Miracle Dog Probiotics. On the third day of taking it again, her stool started to become thicker, resembling normal stool output. While it still looks somewhat like rabbit pellets, she now has 1-2 normal, thicker bowel movements a day. As she is naturally good at passing stool, her overall condition improved. She took it for three months, and there was only one instance of diarrhea during that time.
It seems like Probiotic Miracle Dog Probiotics may be a sensitive product for dogs who are already healthy. So, it initially caused diarrhea for our dog. However, if your dog has health issues or suffers from constipation, I highly recommend trying it out. Especially for dogs with kidney problems, it might be worth giving it a shot.
Anyone with a bit of experience behind the length of time it takes for results to begin to show, feel free to chime in..
