Finally, I tried this brush, and while it still took a bit of time and I had to brush the same areas repeatedly, it made much faster progress than the Duo brush (the only other one that made ANY progress) while not needing to be careful with it. The dual-sided design is really nice as they are oriented in opposite directions, so depending on how you're brushing you can use one side or the other to make it easier. It also allows for more lint removal before requiring cleaning of the brush. Which brings me to my final point: the reviewers complaining about it being difficult to remove the lint from the brush, which appears to be the majority of the negative reviews for this thing, are clearly doing something wrong. It takes literally five seconds to clean. I do find it helps to brush it with a paper towel, as that somewhat grips the lint to push it off the brush, not to mention you can then pinch it off the edge of the lint brush with the paper towel to collect it. I suspect those having difficulty are trying to just use their hands, which may not provide adequate traction to remove the lint. But it's not rocket science. This things works well, is well designed, appears to be well made, and yes, does clean easily. Could have saved a good bit of money and time had I just tried it first.
Four stars because (1) the original ones *are* better; (2) it’s a bit of an effort to get it as clean as I like (which is looking essentially like it’s just been opened, I’m a bit excessively particular about such things).
Works really well for removing cat fur (short hair grey tabby - though short cut hair can often be more difficult to thoroughly remove; I’m sure there’s some corgi dog fur mixed in there from my weekend trips).
This brush is delicate enough on its pick-up, especially if you don’t press down too hard or move it too abruptly and/or quickly, to be used on delicate fabrics such as silk. Works well for all sorts of fabrics and items. From bedding, to furniture, to coats+jackets, to designer dresses and silks (carefully!)
For cleaning (especially to my particular standards) aside from using my fingers/hand, I use a damp kitchen towel, preferably textured - though any damp-moist, not soaked, cloth would do, even a paper towel as long as its one that doesn’t disintegrate when wet. That does it most of the time, or for during a thorough de-furring. To get it as completely clean as possible, I then use one of those nail-scrub brushes, preferably one with a grip so you can have a firm hold (and, yes, I know it’s ridiculous to brush my lint-brush, but it does work infinitely better when it’s as clean as it can be, and I like things to work properly, most everyone does; and there may be others out there as compulsively ridiculously obsessive about having as near-a-pristine lint brush as possible, so I’m sharing my lint-brush cleaning technique. Everybody else can enjoy a laugh at my expense, I assure you I’ll survive the experience ^_^*)
The picture I have posted, is of this brush after being used (for over a week, daily, multiple times) and cleaned using my full method as described above, though not as thorough as possible. It arrived looking perfectly new and shiny and clean, as it should have, shipped+delivered in the time promised. (I don’t want anyone to confuse the photo posted with this brush right out of the packaging.)

Trying to be a bit more "green" conscious, and at its price-point, it was a no-brainer to try it out! Overall, more pros than cons:
Pros:
- Reusable, and no need to worry about refills
- Cost-efficient for ^ point above
- Gets the job done quite easily & efficiently once you know which direction to brush it; low-learning curve really
Cons:
- Scraping the fluff/fur off is a bit tricky
Elle se nettoie un peu moins bien mais la prise en main agréable la rend plus fonctionnelle.
