I'm wearing these while cleaning out an overgrown drainage ditch, a lot of which requires standing in ankle deep water. My feet are dry and none of the thorns from the rose brambles and hawthorn saplings I'm clearing have punctured them. The toe has a decent amount of reinforcement, I haven't had any pain accidentally kicking rocks climbing around in there. Like most rain boots they are a little loose fitting and lack support or cushion, but this pair has just the right amount of space to add some good insoles and after that they fit perfectly. Overall I'm happy with the purchase.
