These have worked very well so far. The self watering feature is great and has worked very well so far. We live near Phoenix so we have already had some pretty hot weather to contend with, but the soil has remained damp and cool through it all. The overflow hole is a good feature so you know you can never overfill the planter.
The main complain I have is that the fasteners included are far too lightweight for the weight that the planters will be holding. A couple of gallons of water and a pretty fair amount of soil could tip the scales at thirty pounds or more, I would guess. If you are going to mount it on a cement or cinder block wall get expansion sleeves, probably 1/4 inch, designed for concrete. For mounting on wood get much larger sleeves and screws as well. You may have to enlarge the mounting holes on the brackets.
I also bought the decorative covers for the brackets to improve the overall appearance.
The boxes themselves look great.

These window boxes are so well made and we’re not at all difficult to hang under my windows. I did have to drill some wood into the side of the house for them to attach to. But that’s pretty standard. They are lightweight, sizing is perfect. And they are holding up pretty well. They can be easily cleaned down with a hose too. Will order more
