Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzed reviews to verify trustworthiness.

Customers are mixed about the size of the sleeping bag. Some mention that the zippers work great, it is roomy enough to move around in and kept them warm on a three night camping trip, while others say that it is not true to size. The price is 9/10, and it's impossible to cram this sleeping bag back into the storage bag. It is a bit bulky, but it does the trick for a kids starter, and the only thing they didn't like was that it wasn't very wide and that the blanket was too short to cover their shoulders AND their feet.

Pros:
1. Quite durable. So far this sleeping bag has survived 5 sleepovers with a bunch of rowdy 9 and 10-year old boys. The outside nylon lining feels really thin, but so far it has held up very well without any scratches or tears. Anything that can survive the destructive force of my son and his friends is impressive.
2. The zipper truly does not bind up or get caught on the fabric when you're zipping it up. This is pure magic.
3. Built in ties and loops to help roll it up and keep it rolled up are nice, and works quite well. Even my 9-year old can manage it.
Cons:
1. The synthetic polyester liner is soft, but I can also see how it can be annoying when it catches on rough skin. I have rough hands, but it's not that uncomfortable. I can see how this may be an issue if you have a bad case of psoriasis or really really dry skin, but it didn't bother me all that much when I got in the bag to try it out.
2. It really is difficult to put it back in the nylon sack the bag came in, but not impossible.
Overall, for the price you pay, this is a great bargain, and has held up much better than I thought it would. The color is also a nice dusky sky blue and quite pleasing to look at.
*Update - Used these bags two more nights with temps in the low 40's and the tent closed on the sides but still open at the top and I was fine right until early morning when my bare shoulders got a little cold. Able to snuggle it up around me and good to go. My wife needed a blanket for a while for added comfort, but she was not cold. I dont think I could use this bag alone down to 30 like I said in my initial review without an additional blanket. That being said I will use it down to freezing with either my down blanket and/or wool military blanket without question. But any colder than that I'm busting out the better gear. Low 40's was my wife's limit I think. She was in light weight PJ's and socks and I was in nada so still warmth to be found in what you wear to bed. I would add .25 of a star if I could to the review for it being usable at 40 degrees for my wife. Well done Colman at a cheap price.
I like how the SACK has two size settings, so to speak: One for when you don't want to bother rolling the sleeping bag up extra tightly and one for when you do. You can actually make it pretty small, and we take it backpacking, though it's probably too big for people who are more hardcore about backpacking and weight.
The little HOOKS on the sides do aid you in folding it up (though, if you're skilled enough, you don't need to use them).
The STRINGS for tying it before stuffing it into the sack are (as with all sleeping bags that are going to go into a bag/case anyway), useless, and using them actually makes it harder to load the sleeping bag into its bag/case.
The ZIPPER works fine and we have had no trouble with it, even with extensive use (every time we use it, we fully unzip it to use it as a blanket on top of another fully unzipped sleeping bag "mattress", and we are also easily able to zip it onto another sleeping bag when we want to).
If it suits your needs in terms of temperature, go for it!
Addendums:
1. Reading the other reviews complaining about the fabric inside... I agree, it's slightly uncomfortable (catches on rough fingernails, etc.). I'd take away a half star, if I could, but not a whole star.
2. I don't have trouble making it fit into the sack, even using the "smaller setting" (i.e., with the zipper on the sack zipped up.) I'm not trying to be mean but, really, I think the people complaining about that just aren't that good at rolling up sleeping bags. It's not easy to get it in the tighter way but it's VERY easy to get it in the regular way, and wholly possible to get it in the tighter way, too. I do it every single time, and often without assistance (though having two people involved makes it easier). An important hint: If you want to get it into the sack and have the sack zipped, too (making it smaller), it needs to be zipped BEFORE you put the sleeping bag in. (You will not be able to zip it afterwards!) So the tricky part is holding the zipper up so that it doesn't unzip itself as you stuff the sleeping bag in. Just roll it up tight and keep it tight while you pull the sack around it. It works best if one person's duty is just to keep the sleeping bag condensed and hold the zipper of the sack in place while the other person pulls the sack around the sleeping bag. It CAN be done! :)

We purchased 2 and zipped them together to make a double. Plenty of room and well made. They were a tad tricky to fit back in the travel bags but fit.
Kept us warm on a cool summer night just off the side of a lake. The second night was colder and we used a thin fleece to keep the cold off our necks as it was very windy.
These are great for warm weather use.
Also the shiny side is squeaky which is a pain. To be honest I’ve gone back to the older light sleeping bag I had that I was hoping this one would replace.
