This smells good and works good! It helped to control break outs and tone down black heads—it didn’t remove them though! Know that this can only do so much. Diet, sleep, and exercise had to do the rest. I was allergic to cane sugar and milk and low in iodine, but I didn’t know it. I kept trying to find a product solution instead of gut health solution. This product will help with maintaining healthy skin, but won’t remove a bad case that has other underlying issues.

I’m going to go in order of events of things I noticed as I used this:

1. Read instructions. LOVED that I don’t need a rag!
2. Lathered up and started massaging. My face starts feeling a burst of a cooling sensation. I rinse off, and my face feels SO GOOD. It was cold but in a good way, it felt fresh, and it felt like it had been cleansed!
3. I go throughout my day after washing and catch sniffs of my face (as weird as it sounds). All I smell is the grapefruit, which smells amazing!
4. About a week has passed of me using it twice a day, as instructed. Not that much visible improvement of my pimples (I don’t have acne, just little pimples all throughout my face), but I notice that suddenly my skin just looks incredible soft, smooth, even, and actually younger! Not sure if it’s an illusion, but I tried different lightings to tell. My pores, dare I say, seem smaller, too lol

It takes about a month for an acne treatment/face wash to really show its results on your face, so you must give this and every other treatment TIME. I HIGHLY recommend following directions and using this twice a day, once in the morning and once at night. This face wash makes it easy to do so, too. Will update in a month to share final results. :)

UPDATE: I’m very late, but here are my results:
Disclaimer—I did not use this twice a day every single day, but I really should have (just as you should for any facial cleanser)! I’ve never really had acne to begin with, just tiny bumps/pimples here and there. I couldn’t see a significant difference, but that’s probably for the two reasons listed above. All in all, I can tell it cleans my face, and it smells amazing, and is easy to use. Therefore, I say get this just so you can keep your face clean and prevent acne. I’ll probably buy it again when I run out.

I have hereditary problems with acne. It appears at random on my face, back, and chest. While this is annoying, this is something I have to deal with regularly. I've never found a "acne wash" that works without fail, but this one did help a little.

Here are a few good things about this product: The smell is better than most face washes, though I don't know that it really smells like grape fruit. This actually makes your face feel clean, especially when you first start using it. I was surprised, I don't think my face has ever felt so clean! Even when I didn't wear make up for a few days and washed my face everyday, my face never felt so fresh! It definitely gives you a more confident feeling. I felt less nervous about going outside without make up after I put it on. I like the texture of this product as well, the cream doesn't feel hard or rough. It didn't really seem to dry out my skin too badly either, which is a common problem I have with face washes or any "acne clearing" product.

The bad- I went through a bottle FAST. I'm not sure if I was using too much, or what made it seem to go so quickly. I used it every morning before applying make up, and every night after removing make up before bed. Though it did help a little, it didn't help as much as I would've liked. It seemed break outs I already had did not go away, and I didn't see a major noticeable difference. Break outs did ease up a little.

The reason I recommend the other product is because of the price, and quantity. I believe I bought the Neutrogena Deep Clean at Target for about $5, maybe even $4. This product is much more effective, but the smell isn't as nice and it won't make you feel as clean.

Overall Neutrogena's Grape Fruit wash deserves about 3.5-4 stars. How well it works? Not as well as I wish it would- especially not for the higher price. The smell is great, and the color and texture of the product make it cute and fun! (Yes, I just said fun.) If you only have moderate acne or break outs, this product would probably work great for you!

I'm a heavy make-up wearer and sometimes its hard to make sure every last one of my pores are clean and make-up free. This cleanser really does clear up any little bumps I might get within a day or two, and it smells so good! First I use a makeup remover, then I add a dime sized amount of the pink grapefruit cleanser, gently wash my face for 60 seconds, then rinse. Then I add another dime sized amount and repeat for a deeper clean.

The only downside I have is that it makes your washcloths REEK. I was turning over the rugs in my bathroom to make sure my cats hadn't peed on them! I recomend eashing your washcloths daily.
