I've actually used these for a while, just haven't written a review for them. I get really dry eyes from time to time and these are my go to. For me, it's like it's an instantaneous redness relieve. There is a little bit of a burn, but it's very manageable. Love this product and will continue to use.

I've been having itchy and very watery eyes this allergy season. These drops did alleviate those symptoms, but the burning from the drops themselves and the dilated pupils make them a no go for me. The burning didn't last long, but 2 hours later and my pupil is still enlarged which makes light bothersome. I won't be using these again. They do work on the allergy symptoms, but the side effects don't work for me.

I knocked off 1 star for the child proof lid. That made the bottle very difficult to open.

I spent most of my life using other brands that are commonly sold in stores (included private labels at your usual grocery stores). You know the ones. They worked, sorta'.

Thing is, I have issues with severely dry eyes. And I found that all of them, despite their claims, never worked well, or long enough. And I have never wanted to go the prescription route.

Opcon-A solved all of that for me several years ago. On a low-impact day (meaning: limited screen time and not a lot of outdoor pollutants), these work ALL DAY. On a mid- or even high-impact day, one or two (at one point during forest fire season, three) applications was enough to get me through.

I will pay more if I get more. And I do with Opcon-A. I know that Bausch + Lomb is an American-Canadian company with a fairly large presence in the eye-care industry. So what? Whatever their 'secret sauce' with this product, it works and works really well for me. I will never go back to the other brands.

Can't say my eyes are yours. But if you suffer from similar issues, you will be lucky to buy this product.

These drops are a godsend if you've got itchy eyes. Assuming of course that you can get the cap off in the first place. It's not so much push the cap down as it is squeeze the cap to break some sort of seal the first time you try to open it. I read a tip somewhere to squeeze it with a nutcracker and lacking that I used a manual can opener to squeeze the cap and finally got it off. Don't know how to rate this. It's easily five stars if you can get it open and zero stars if you can't get it open. Good luck
