I was ordering a new spotting scope for the range along with a tabletop tripod.
Stumbled into this which was about all thats really available on Amazon.

Works perfect, holds the scope and the tripod in one package with a carrying strap. Protects your scope and it keeps it with a tripod together and ready to go. The bag's good quality, has straps where you need it to cinch it all down, there's no reason not to recommend it. Luckily pretty much the only option on Amazon was a good one.

If you're getting a decent scope you're spending some money and there's no good reason not to get this bag to protect your investment. It's all good.

I’m extremely satisfied with this case. It fits our angled Zeiss Gavia 85 scope perfectly. I was worried that this case’s shape would be awkward for an angled scope or too small for an 85mm objective lense, but neither turned out to be true. This product feels durable and well-made, and will protect the scope as well as any soft shell case could be expected to. I plan to use this case for transporting my scope into the field, either inside of a bicycle pannier, attached to my backpack, or just slung over my shoulder with the attached carry strap. I do not anticipate attaching the tripod to the case. I tried doing so, but it was much less awkward to just carry the tripod separately in its own included carry bag. That said, the straps on the side of this case will still be useful for lashing it to a backpack or the deck of my kayak. I love the woodland camouflage color pattern, which is perfect for our intended birding and wildlife viewing applications (hunters aren’t the only ones who benefit from blending in). An added bonus that was not mentioned in the product description is a semi-rigid layer of plastic or cardboard like material on the side of the case where a tripod could be lashed, presumably to protect your scope from the tripod when attached. The only improvement I would suggest for this product would be to place that same armoring around the whole case for added protection. That said, this is exactly what I was looking for, at an extraordinary price.

I wanted a lightly padded bag to store and carry my Vortex Razor HD 27 x 60 x 85 angled spotting scope. For the price, this bag cannot be beat (others wanted to charge over $100 for a padded cover!). The scope does stick out slightly from the main body of the bag but the cover that fits over the main body of the bag is adjustable and easily covers the scope and I am satisfied with the protection it provides. In addition, I like the side pouch which enables me to carry small items like my lens caps and cell phone digiscope adapter. A minor detail is you cannot leave it on the scope while it is mounted on the tripod but I don't need that feature.

Most spotting scopes are 60mm or 80mm and I was having a hard time finding a case my scope would fit in. Fortunately it fits perfectly! The Vortex Diamondback 20-60 x 80 Angled spotting scope fits in snug and the attached side case holds the Monfrotto compact tripod model # MKC3-HO1 securely with two adjustable buckled straps. It is covered in soft Realtree camouflage material. It should make carrying two odd shaped pieces easily together in one unit.. The material does not appear to be water resistant so I plan to spray some kind of water repellant on it.
