Product Description
Enjoy the luxurious comfort and superior cleanliness of a bidet in your own home, without expensive remodeling. The Astor Bidet Fresh Water Spray Non-Electric Mechanical Bidet Toilet Seat Attachment converts any standard toilet into a bidet in just a few minutes — no special tools or plumbing skills required.
Ultimate Fresh Water Cleansing
The Astor Bidet connects directly to the fresh water supply, providing you with a spray of water for your personal hygiene that's far more comfortable and thorough than scratchy toilet paper. As a result — and an added bonus — you'll be helping the environment by using less toilet paper or wet wipes.
The spray nozzle is retracted when not in use, ensuring that the highest level of sanitation is maintained. To extend the nozzle, simply turn on the water spray with the control dial. When you turn it off, the nozzle retracts automatically.
Comfort Adjustable Spray- The Astor Bidet control dial adjusts the pressure of the spray from low to high, according to the preference of each user.
Fast & Easy Installation
This unobtrusive design mounts between the toilet seat and rim of any two-piece toilet (that is, where the tank is a separate unit). All it takes is a screwdriver and 10 to 20 minutes of your time. The mounting bars allow for adjustment to align with the holes on your toilet rim. And because the Astor Bidet operates on water pressure alone, there's no worry about electrical connections.
The Astor Bidet comes complete with all the necessary hoses and adapters, plus installation and operating instructions.
Gold Standard Quality
Backed by a 12 month manufacturer's warranty, the Astor Bidet delivers solid performance along with its comfort features. It's made of durable, high-grade plastic to prevent leaks or rusting and be easy to clean. The Astor Bidet Toilet Seat Attachment offers premium quality at an outstanding value.

I've only had mine for a couple of weeks but it was easy to install and works perfectly. I was a bit worried about where it would hit me but if my cornhole were a target it would hit the bulls-eye every time! For #1 jobs I just lean forward a bit and that works, too! I'm very pleased. I agree with other reviewers though that if you have a limited amount of space on the right side of your john, don't replace the toilet seat until you've hooked up the water, it's VERY hard to get under it see where/how to attach the tiny water hose to the bottom of the unit if it's already been bolted down. And they aren't kidding when they say it's powerful so turn up the dial VERY slowly until you get used to where to set it.
I originally watched a video of how to install it that was not accurate so I did have to screw down the bolts twice. In the video it shows to place it where you'd like it on your toilet and then to move the sliding parts near the bolt holes inward to hold it in place. That is not correct. You need to move the sliding parts OVER the bolt holes and put the bolts THROUGH them, not outside. I've read complaints that it was not centered properly and I'm confident that those were not installed correctly. When I tried it the way I was shown on the video, mine was not centered. I will say the directions are completely worthless, I have a BA and I had no idea what any of it meant at all. If you try to follow along, you'll get there, but they were clearly not written by anyone who's ever installed one, nor speaks English.
That said, it's freakin' AWESOME! I've all but stopped using toilet paper (but it's still there) and put some small cloths on the back of the toilet for anyone who wants to use it and pat themselves dry. I installed two small Command sticky hooks near the commode for hanging the drying cloths and a tiny hamper for those who don't wish to reuse their drying towels (guests). I just use a clean cloth every day and hang mine back up to dry after using (for the day). I think I'm going to install grommets on each drying cloth to make them easier to hang and roll them up to look like spa towels and place them on a small tray on the back of the toilet. Because I'm fancy like that, that's why! No, but seriously, doesn't that sound awesome?
Oh, and while I'm at it, it isn't very cold here yet but we've had a few days in the high 30s and low 40s and I was worried I wouldn't like the cold water "down there." Reviewers were right though, you really don't feel as much cold as you would think. Yes, it is refreshing, but more importantly, it really doesn't feel cold till you put your paw in to brush away any possible lingering debris. It feels MUCH colder to my hand than to... well, other parts. And I really do feel much cleaner. I recently forgot to replace my drying cloths so I had to use toilet paper to wipe (instead of using the bidet) and my bunghole was itchy until I was able to hose it off, even after using a wet wipe. Which is weird, because I always used wet wipes after a bowel movement and usually, but not always, I was fine. Since getting this bidet attachment though, I've had no itchiness, nor needed any "butt cream" except that once I didn't use it. And I'm saving money on toilet paper and wet wipes already!
UPDATE: I've had mine for a year and nine months now and I'm still loving it. It still works perfectly, I've had no leaks or issues, and I'm still saving money on toilet paper! I did end up cutting up a few soft dish towels and putting grommets in the corners to use as drying cloths. It's wonderful, I just rinse, pat myself dry, and hang my cloth back up on the hook until next time (I use a clean one every day). In the morning I drop the used cloth into the tiny hamper next to the toilet (a small wire wastebasket I got from the Dollar Tree that's used ONLY for those) and grab a fresh one. I LOVE it!
I should note for the ladies; I'm careful to use one side for the front and the other side for the back when I reuse the same cloth. It wouldn't be an issue if you get a clean one every time but if you do intend to reuse, make a quick habit of hanging it the same way every time so you know which side is which to prevent contaminating the lady-parts. ;)

These things are very easy to install and can be done in less than 15 minutes. One installation tip, which someone else posted, is to do the water connection in the back first and then take the seat off and do that part. The directions say to do it the other way around and I'm not sure why because then the bidet gets in the way when you are doing the water hookup in the back. Also, I found that I did not have to drain the tank before doing the water hookup. I just unscrewed the line from the bottom of the tank and the only water that came out was a little from the inside of the line (hose) which a towel soaks up.
I agree the cold water is not an issue, in fact it feels good. I am saving a lot of money on wipes but one little issue is where the water shoots. As a male I'm only interested in it shooting towards the rear, so to speak, and it seems to be aimed more towards the front, I guess for woman, so I have to scoot forward to hit the right place but then water gets all over my "undercarriage" (i.e., back of junk and taint) that I have to then dry off. If you remember to scoot forward first and get good at aiming and not using too much pressure this issue can be avoided. Also, the small, round seat doesn't have as much room to scoot forward as the long, oval seats and at first I thought this was a problem until I figured out to put my "junk" up on top of the seat and then I could scoot far enough forward and keep my undercarriage dry in the process. So it's actually better than the long ones.
One other issue I have with the design, and a lot of people noted, is the very narrow part of dial adjusts water pressure which is pretty strong, which is an issue with all these type of bidets (I have 3 different ones, the Luxe MB110 is my favorite one). I also bought a metal pressure control control valve that some people suggested but that didn't help much. It can lower or even shut off the water to the bidet but it doesn't seem to increase the spectrum between low and high on the dial. In other words, go just a little past low and you are at full blast, which is pretty strong. Eventually you learn to turn the dial SLOWLY to low and wait for the water to come.
I also bought the newer Luxe model (Neo 110) which is a little more expensive and has metal water line (instead of plastic line which some people are concerned about but has not been an actual issue in any of the reviews I read. The plastic and the connections are VERY strong) I suspect Luxe is using a metal line now to respond to customer concerns (and have a marketing advantage over their competition) rather than to resolve actual issues in using plastic. The Neo does seems a little better built in other ways too and may last longer but it doesn't look as nice as this one due to the color and metal they added and different design that has the unit sticking out farther from the toilet (which I guess would be better for large bottoms).
I also bought this Astor bidet and it works pretty good and is a lot like the all-white Luxe MB110. If you want to save a few bucks then the Astor is fine but the Luxe MB110 looks a little nicer and seems to be slightly better built.
One other potential issue with all these bidets is that they can aggravate hemorrhoids, or at least that's what my friend said. After he used it a couple times a flare-up happened that hasn't happened in many years. Using low pressure and using it sparingly seems to help. This is just one person's not-very-scientific take but maybe if other people experience the same thing they can post about it.
