Literally took me less than 5 minutes to put this thing together with no tools... you can see from pictures that my gas tank fits in there perfectly I took someone else's advice and I didn't put the bottom in and I assembled it just the sides and the top and it's still very sturdy you can still sit on it. I noticed that even if I had put the bottom in the tank that I have probably would still fit and I would be able to close to top the only problem is there would be no place for the hose to go in the back of this particular box. I've seen some others that people have stored hoses in that look like maybe they have a hole for the hose to come out of and maybe that would be easier if you want thing completely enclosed. There is no specific hole where you can run the hose from your gas tank to your fire pit or wherever you're going to hook up that's why I left the bottom off and I think it will work fine. Once I get the whole thing assembled I will come back and leave another review and let you know.oh..and it matches ny keter corfu set puuuurrffeectly..love it!

I loved this box so much, I ordered another one for my expanding towel collection. This is an update to old review. After a sweltering summer that warps a lot of plastic, tropical storms, wintering outside and being sat on by children regularly, this little box is still perfect. Again, it performed so well, I just bought another.

Original Review: I do not typically review an item so soon. I have had this box about 3 weeks. It was amazingly easy to put together. No tools are needed at all. It simply snaps together. It was very easy for one person to assemble. I did it alone, indoors, in less than ten minutes. My favorite feature about this box is that so far, it is completely waterproof. I live in the southeast, and we have had a tremendous amount of rain this year. I store pool towels in it, and so far this box has faced two tropical storms/depressions and still not a single leak. The box is not heavy, so I think I would bring it in if strong winds were an issue. The only water that has gotten into this box so far was dripped in by wet children looking for towels.

I think this is a perfect option for storing towels by the pool. The description says it can be used as a seat, but I do not use it that way. For sitting, I buy chairs. For storing my pool towels, this has served very nicely. So far, we have had several very hot, sunny days and there is no sign of warping in the plastic. Call it resin wicker if you want, it is a very heavy duty plastic. It looks like plastic, but is attractive enough on my pool deck. I can store about 12 to 15 rolled towels in the box. I love having the towels available at poolside, and having them stay nice and dry is even better. I have not been disappointed at all in this purchase.

Was looking for something to store smaller pool items such as deflated floats, goggles, flip-flops, pool toys, etc. and this is just the right size. Color is a nice rich brown, a little deeper in tone than what was pictured, which I much prefer. After taking the one minute it took to read the assembly instructions, it took me all of a minute and a half to put it together. All 6 pieces are very well marked. It is very sturdy and can definitely take the weight of someone over 200 lbs. sitting on it. Plan to get a cushion for it for additional seating. The inner dimensions for a cushion would be 18” x 15”. I wouldn’t say it is 100% waterproof or sealed but to get it close to that you could take some duct tape and tape the interior sides and bottom seams and nothing much is going to get into this. The one down side that I felt was that it was a little hard to move around as it has no handles. So…I had a couple of kitchen drawer pulls left over from our remodel, drilled a couple of holes in the sides of the box, added some 1” washers to give it a little strength/support and screwed the pulls on. Now IT IS perfect! We also have the Suncast PTW175 Mocha Wicket 175-Foot Capacity Hose Reel (wish we would have purchased it from Amazon as we could have gotten it for half the price) and the storage box matches that. Nice to have matching décor items even if it is just for storing stuff!

Good quality and very easy to put together. I'm really happy with this storage/box seat.

I actually purchased it to use indoors as a table for an AeroGarden that I'm growing with my 3yo son, so I wanted something low at his height. Although this is an outdoor item, it's good looking enough (just) to use indoors. It does have a bit of a slope to the "seat" - I expect so rainwater / melted snow will run off. For my unique application, it meant I had to shim the front of the AeroGarden a bit (I stuck some cardboard under the front feet). Given that this is designed for outdoor use, I see it as a plus that water shouldn't pool on the seat.

Assembly was simple - it just snapped together. The only challenge I had was installing the top, which is hinged. The instructions say to bend inwards towards the center a tab on the top. However, this tab is very hard plastic and wouldn't budge. Moreover, there are some rough, almost sharp plastic pieces on the edges and I feared that if I forced it, my hand would slip and get a cut/scrape. Ultimately, I discovered that pushing inwards on the outside edge of the top/lid easily moved the tab enough to slip it over over matching tab on the base.

The only con for me (and I deducted a rating star for this) was the price. It's not excessive, but I certainly wouldn't call it a great deal. Closer to the value I would expect to find in a nice home store than on Amazon. That said, I couldn't find anything I liked more for a better price and I'm happy with this purchase. I would happily recommend this to others.

The box was easy to assemble with no tools needed. It is capacious, lightweight but very sturdy and looks smart. Standing outside in all weathers it certainly seems watertight too, so I'm very pleased with this purchase. It would be good if the manufacturers produced a wipe-dry seat pad to fit - it is, after all, designed to be a seat as well as a storage box. I have searched online but can't find anything the right size.
