This sucker is much sturdier than it looks in the picture, the perfect way to warm my Japanese tea pot gently without over-boiling the green tea. It's pretty enough to leave out even when not in use. I'd only recommend using a natural non-oily wrought or cast iron cleaning product on it, though, since it's meant to prepare food and powered by a candle. Basic care will keep it from rusting and make it last for years to come.

I purchased this as a gift to go with a cast iron teapot purchased a number of years ago. It looks great with the teapot and works well to keep the tea warm and drinkable for hours. This is a heavy weight warmer and could be used with a very heavy teapot. The only issue I had at all with is was that one of the feet had a slightly rough spot. I applied a cushioned pad to each of the feet and it works perfectly.
