I've owned is for 2 weeks I am couldnt be more satisfied.

It's extremely heavy, you will need two people to move it around when delivered.

We were warned by reviews that it would be difficult to assemble. But by watching the youtube video and following the manual, it was straight forward. You definitely need two people for the last half. Total elapsed time for assembly was about 3 hours. There's a better manual now available for download off the Kettler site which has photos rather than schematics- the schematics are not as useful. A couple of screws were missing which was frustrating because I spend 20 minutes searching. Once I determined that they were missing, I found the Kettler support number in the manual. The Kettler support number was answered by a human who worked for Kettler, who spoke perfect English, and they were actually familiar with the product. I received the screws within 5 calendar days-- very impressive.

The table is very solid. Surfaces have a good bounce. Folds up easily and has safety controls to reduce risks with Children. The wheels are large which makes for smooth movement even on rough decking. It feels solid when you roll it.

Summary: This is a 1st class product by a well managed company.

We are casual ping pongers, but have played on enough tables to know a decent one from a bad one. This table is quite nice. Yes, it takes a bit to put together, but was not difficult and time consuming. My husband and 13 year old put it together in a couple hours. the documentation isn't great and it's hard to tell one part from another at times. Pay attention to the diagrams. It does take two people to put into place, but the rest can be done solo. We've used it quite a bit in the few days we've had it and like the feel of play on the table as well as the solo play set up. Can't wait to put it on the patio in the summer!

We ordered the Kettler table for our office and it's great. We've had other Stiga tables which are nothing more than thin pressed wood. We had problems with the screws coming out of the old Stiga tables. I ended up throwing it away after two years, and ordering this Kettler. I was excited because this table has heavier metal legs, and much better design. It has a strong aluminum edge on it, and the bottom is completely metal. I assume it's all aluminum, and there's no way the legs will come off of the bottom of this table. It's a little more money, but I'm sure it's going to last a lot longer. We're using it indoors, so weather isn't a factor. It looks and performs great. The setup took less than 2 hours, and the instructions were pretty clear. Just use the parts in order, and only open the bags in the correct order and you'll be fine. The only concern I have about the table long term is the mechanism for locking and unlocking the table to raise or lower it. I'm picturing someone forcing it and breaking the plastic components. Of course that hasn't happened yet, but just imaging the kind of abuse this will get over time. Overall, I'd recommend this to anyone for indoor or outdoor use.

Delivery was frustrating - took awhile to arrange for it and it was pulling teeth to get the guys to bring it to my garage, and then after hours of trying to put this together (with two strong guys) we discovered two parts were missing. Do yourself a favor - find a better, classier table elsewhere. I'd never go Kettler again.

The problem is that the bounce of the ball off of the table is far below regulation so it does not play like a regular table - very disappointing for a table of this price.

If you enjoy playing Ping Pong or Table Tennis, whichever you call it, this is an excellent table! It will meet, if not exceed your expectations, which it should for the cost. It's list price is $1000, but I waited til I found it on Amazon for $750.

We've had it for one month, I have 2 young boys (7), and we have a ball playing it & they are getting better & better, so I know we will have many years probably decades of fun. I'm sure through their middle & high school years their friends & they will use it constantly. When I think of that & having the kids at our home & that many years, the cost is really not bad.

The construction of the table is superb!
I can see it lasting, easily for years! It took me about 3.5 hours to assemble it myself, but I did have a friend help me lift the two table pieces into place. There was no possible way to do that part alone. It took 3.5-4 hrs from unpacking it to checking that I had every piece needed to putting on the net. I purchased this one because I've seen other tables with what seemed to be cheap wheels break. These wheels seem to be excellent, but time will tell.

I've read that the table is difficult to assemble, I disagree...IT IS time consuming for sure, BUT if you don't want the frame to become loose, then you need to take your time & do it correctly! You get what you pay for & you get the type of assembly you want based on the time & effort you put into it! Make sure you have time to do it right & you will enjoy it! Don't assume you'll do it in under 3 hours!

Last thing & very very important!!!
I did not have a metric ratchet set, so I was using two adjustable wrenches to tighten everything, one of which was a locking wrench. It would have been so much easier to have a metric ratchet set...BUT WHAT THEY DID NOT LIST in the instructions anywhere or tell you about anywhere is that they included 2 tools in the bag that contains the net that are for tightening every bolt!!!! They are 2 metric tools & I wish I had known about them, BUT I set the net bag aside because I knew it would be the last thing to attach! I did use the tools included to double check & tighten every bolt!
SO make sure you check the bag that holds the net for those 2 tools!!!
