These shoes are awesome! I think they will be great for my weekend bowling. That is a huge relief because I've bought other bowling shoes online (kids' ones) and they were a pain. These ones were easy peasy lemon squeezy!
Here are a few things you should know:
1.) They run a smidge big, but not too much. I usually wear between a 9.5 to 10.5 depending on the shoe. I ordered these 9.5 and they are the right size. They are significantly wider than a normal shoe though... I really had to cinch the laces down tight, but no problems at all after that.
2.) Another reviewer said they are very slippery... I was particularly concerned about that but I put these on and traipsed around my hardwood floors for awhile and there were no problems at all. The bowling approach might be different, but they seem like normal bowling shoes to me.
3.) The pink color is not as neon as shown in the picture. It is more of a standard color. I actually like the color better than when I was ordering it.
4.) Shipping and packing took some time: eight total days, but they arrived before the "deadline" of 4-6 business days after order was shipped.

I'm a casual bowler who bowls once a week. For my purposes these shoes are excellent. I am usually a 7.5M and the 7 fit perfectly with "normal" cotton socks (as opposed to thin nylon types). Some reviews said to go down a full size but a 6.5 was way too short for my foot. I can see how people think they look cheap but that wasn't an issue for me. I think they're cute and very comfortable. I don't like heavy shoes and these were lightweight and flexible from the beginning, no break in needed. They are on the wide side but definately not too wide unless you have very narrow feet. I've used them about 5 times now and I haven't had any issues with quality so far. I got them for $35 so I'm happy with the price. My only dislike is how long the shoe laces are but I have that problem with all shoes so maybe I just like them on the short side. But even with double knotting them they were flapping around. In my picture you can see how long they are. Overall I think these were a great buy and I'm very happy with them!

I’m new to a bowling league and was looking for a shoe that I could get quickly, wouldn’t break the bank, or kill my feet. My feet and heels are narrow, but I need a shoe with a wide toe box due to years of tennis. I ordered this shoe in a 7 1/2 and the Brunswick Bliss in an 8 based on other customer reviews. I wear a 7 1/2 in everyday shoes and an 8 1/2 in tennis and running shoes. The 7 1/2 in this shoe fits perfectly, and the toe box is roomy. I dare say they are actually very comfortable. I read that some users thought they were stiff, and they are a bit stiff out of the box, but I just took about 10 minutes bending each shoe at the arch, and they were great on my first bowl. The Brunswick Bliss was much stiffer to me, and unlike other users, I thought they were very narrow through the toes, almost pointy. They hurt my feet, so it was a no-brainer deciding which ones to keep. These shoes were so comfy, I could wear them around the house and be as comfortable as I am in my Merrell’s or Uggs.

I'm pretty sad that these turned out to be mediocre shoes at such a steep price.
*Like the other reviewers said, they run wide. The actual size of the shoe was just right for me (I got a size smaller than regular because of the other reviews), but the wideness is a little too much for my liking. I can slip my foot out without untying them...which isn't supposed to happen lol
*The vibrant pink you see shown, is not the same pink that you get. Its a flat, dark coral like color? That's the best that I can describe it. They're still cute though, even with the disappointment of them not being the beautiful vibrant magenta I had hoped for.
*Also, (maybe because they're not worn in?) they're very stiff. The stiffness overall doesn't bother me, but when I bend my foot to take a step, the top ankle area on the shoe digs into me. Uncomfortable at first, then starts to get painful :( Honestly, if they didn't hurt then I'd keep them

I refuse to "borrow" shoes at the bowling alley...I know they disinfect them after every wear, but no. Being that my husband LOVES to bowl, I felt it necessary to purchase a pair of shoes for myself that would not break the bank. I am really happy with this purchase, not only are they really cute bowling shoes, but they fit perfectly and are true to size. I heard the brand is also meant to be a really good known brand, so that was a plus. We have other friends who we go bowling with, and at one of our local bowling alleys they charge $3 for the rental, so it was cheaper for my friends to just buy this shoe opposed to having to constantly pay for a rental, it really pays off. I go bowling once in a blue moon with friends, but it's nice to have my own pair of shoes and not have to wear the ones that they rent out to everyone else. These feel great and give you just the right amount of slide on the lanes.
