1.0 out of 5 stars Design flaw
Reviewed in the United States on August 19, 2022
It seemed to be working out of the box, but then it fell apart because of a big design flaw. I got maybe 90 seconds of use out of it.

There is a knob that adjusts the distance. Apparently I turned the knob too far -- nowhere does it offer guidance on proper knob-turning -- and the bolt it controls detached from the big spring inside, rendering the whole item useless. See photo.

The spring needs to be pulled taut, but it's a big spring that requires either some sort of machine to pull or massive strength. Either way, it's deep in the guts of the machine so you can't get more than a finger or two on it. The only way to reach it would be to take the casing apart.

I ignored all the negative reviews, since this thing was pretty much exactly what I was shopping for. I was OK with the thing only working for a year or so -- that's everything you buy these days. Anyway, I didn't see any reviews that mentioned this knob issue.

The thing was working, it was just pitching them over my head. I tried to adjust it and it fell apart.

Don't turn that knob too far and it's probably fine.
