I didn't buy this for snowball making, I bought it to make bath bombs with. It works wonderful for that. The inside is a nice, shiny plastic which makes it so my bath bombs don't stick. Just to be sure, I usually rub a little coconut oil along the insides. This way, I can pack the balls tightly and not have to worry that they will fall apart as I try to get them out. They fall out of the molds.

The unit I got was white and gray, not green and black. it doesn't matter to me, but I thought I would mention it in case it does matter to some people.

If you're a bath bomb maker, I can highly recommend this. I have no clue how well it will work as a snowball maker.

This actually works a lot better than I expected. You have to really compact the snow and press very hard, so it's difficult for children to use successfully. Once you get the process down, though, it makes some pretty perfect snowballs

I'm currently using this product for making homemade bath bombs and LET ME TELL YOU, it is absolutely fabulous! It makes the perfect amount and it cuts my work time in half. Truly a life saver! The only downside if I had to say anything negative, is that it does leave the logo imprint on both halves of the bath bomb but it's easy to press into the bomb to make the surface flat. But for a negative, it's so minor it hardly makes a difference to me. The pros far outweigh that little con.
