This year was the year for our daughter. Now age 7, 4ft 3inches tall and 60lbs, we finally decided to get rid of the Aqua Buddy and teach her the 'right way'. After watching some much needed coaching videos, practicing at home on the rear deck, she nailed it the first try and has never looked back.
The board has been solid from the beginning. The bindings are fine for what they are and appear to be like new at after some solid ride time. She's ridden it 6-12 times per trip and we've been out at least 8 times since she finally got up.
To be fair, this board and our other adult board are entry level boards, so we really don't have high end boards to compare them to, but both are holding up just fine.
The video I included was a short film I put together of her 5th and 6th days riding. It show's off her riding the board, plus a few close ups.
