Pros:
It's difficult to eat healthy while making time for work, leisure and rest. Eating out a few nights a week gets expensive very fast. This little, red angel will put those worries behind. I was hesitant on purchasing this product. As the old saying goes, "you get what you pay for." This rice cooker will possibly save you hundreds of dollars through out the year with quick, healthy, inexpensive dinners you can make. If you're single, this is the answer to all of your cooking woes.
Size - The cooker has a small footprint that you can set on any counter top, or table. You can leave it there without worry of taking up too much space, or burning what's underneath. For it's size it can make an amazingly large amount of food for one person.
Cooking - The food is cooked quickly with little effort. Due to only water being used, the lean meats and vegetables are cooked with no worries of needing to add oils or cooking grease. With the cup the cooker comes with, one cup of brown rice serves me two meals. My meals consist of rice mixed in with vegetables such as squash to give it flavor, and 3-4 chicken thighs that I place on the cooking pan. I prefer to mix in the rice with the vegetables so I can have more space to cook more meat. The meat is steam cooked, so it's healthy and when you mix it in with the rice and squash it gives it a bit of flavor without needing spices. Both the rice and meat are cooked simultaneously with no issues. Everything is done in over an hour, and I stir it once or twice.
Hardware and maintenance - The steamer itself is sturdy, and cools down quickly. With one button to push makes it feel like I'm cheating when it's cooking. No food or water should spill on it, so keeping it clean is an after thought. Cleaning the cooking pot, pan, lid and spoon takes about five minutes with soap and water. No need to put it in a dish washer since it's almost trivial to clean. Again, because I don't use oils to cook it's incredibly simple to maintain. The build quality is sturdy and thick.
Cons:
The only two cons I've found are so trivial that they're barely worth mentioning due to the price and performance this little beast puts out. The aluminum pan that cooks the meat has flimsy handles (this is a common problem with a lot of cook ware). You can feel the screws used were too short and will sooner or later break from the pan. Nothing that two screws and a small handle from an old pot won't fix. The power cord is quite short (about a foot long) and you will need an outlet that's nearby if you prefer a clean station without extension cords. Again, for the price and performance these two cons are barely worth mentioning and I think the product deserves the 5 stars.
Note: The aluminum pan is very thin. Be careful if you use any acid based flavoring such as lemon juice. It will eat through the pan, but it's acidic, so you can't put blame on the pan.
Summary: I'm extremely happy with this product, and the fact that it's under $20 makes it feel like I made out like a bandit. Easy to make, healthy food for single workaholics and college kids. Enjoy!
Pros:
-$17 for a rice cooker is really cheap for the utility I'm getting out of it.
-It's quick and easy to use. Just add rice and water (and optionally the steamer with other food you want to steam), push the lever, and wait for ~15-20 minutes.
-It's compact, yet makes more than enough rice to last a few meals. 6 cups is a lot of rice for an individual college student like me. And storing the rice cooker somewhere else when I'm not using it is easy since it is fairly lightweight.
-It has lasted me for almost a year with regular usage, and I believe that it will last me at least a few more.
-Unlike another review complaining about the stability caused by the three legs, I felt that this rice cooker's stability was fine. However, I make simple rice dinners that only involve me preparing vegetables and adding them to the steamer, rather than actually breaking frozen food in the steamer like the reviewer did. Interpret this based on how you plan to use the rice cooker.
-This rice cooker is easy to clean.
Cons:
-I wish there was a bit more feedback to indicate that the rice is done cooking. More expensive rice cookers play some sort of audio, while this one just changes the indicator light and makes a click when the lever is moved back to the non-cooking position. I find myself often going back and forth to check when the rice cooker is done cooking.
-The cooked rice tends to become "webbed" at the bottom if you don't rinse out the starch well enough, and it has mildly burned at times.
-It's easy to forget to unplug the rice cooker when you're done. Even if the metal pot is no longer in the rice cooker, it will keep "warming" if you don't do anything. This seems like a safety hazard that is easily fixable with some audio feedback or an auto-shutoff mechanism.
Overall, this won't cook your rice as well as an expensive Japanese rice cooker can, but if all you need is a few cups of well-cooked rice regularly, this is the product for you. I took off a star because of the lack of feedback that is an inconvenience at best and a safety hazard at worst, but this rice cooker will otherwise be able to meet your rice-cooking needs.

The only thing I would say to watchout for is spray during the cooking process. I'm used to some startchy rice water escaping through the vent hole in the lid on a ricecooker and I always set it on a kitchen towel anyway to avoid a mess on the counter, but this particular model requires me to use only my longest towels and arrange them strategically. The vent hole ejects stray rice water forward nearly a foot, and not only does this result in a messy counter, it stings when it gets you as you're cooking nearby!
