From the manufacturer
16 oz. Hummingbird Flower Feeder
First Nature’s 16 oz. Hummingbird Flower Feeder’s red base with attractive yellow flowers really draws the birds and the yellow flowers discourage bees and wasps from entering the feeder. The perch provides the perfect position for birds to comfortably feed at any of the ten ports. The wide-mouth fluted reservoir is easy to fill and easy to clean. The patented two-part base twists apart for thorough cleaning. All parts may be washed in warm soapy water. (Do not put any parts of this feeder in a dishwasher.) We recommend you use First Nature’s Hummingbird Nectar Concentrate which you can easily mix right in the reservoir. Item No. 993091-001

But, this First Nature feeder is much better in pretty much every way. It has a wide opening, so it's easy to fill and easy to clean. It has more red on it, so I think that contributes to it being more popular with the hummingbirds. And, I am not sure why, but it never gets any mold in it. The only downside is that this First Nature feeder isn't dishwasher safe, but given that it's so easy to clean, it really hasn't been a big deal. Honestly, I'm thinking about buying a second one and just tossing the glass one. A+!
First, it's crazy popular: the birds basically fight over it. Until now we maintained two feeders from two manufacturers and on a whim we swapped their positions. The birds went with this feeder, leaving the first location almost unused. And we run straight 1:4 sugar water so nothing magical.
Second, it's ergonomically very good for the Anna's and Rufous that we get. The perchers don't have to crane their necks or stretch to dip beak. The hoverers have a straight shot without bumping into the perch or tank.
Third, it's easy to clean with a sponge. The only area that's slightly tougher is the tight corners in the tank just above the mounting neck. The neck flares out sharply and the tight inside radius can be a little tricky to scrub. I've used a toothbrush to clean that area when it got a little murky. Resist using anything abrasive for obvious reasons.
The 16-ounce capacity seems perfect for us. We get between six to 10 birds depending on the time of year. When the weather is cooler and birds are fewer, the tank runs dry in about five or six days. When things warm up and more birds feed, it'll last about three or four. The nectar starts turning murky at about those times anyway so it's a good reminder to refill.
We use two Christmas bulbs in a 6" disposable plastic bowl wire-tied to the perimeter to keep it from freezing when temps drop. Just poke four holes in the perimeter and tie the bowl to the mounts to the perch ring with some ordinary garden wire (like bread-bag ties). It gets to low teens at night for about a week straight and as long as the power stays on the nectar never freezes.
All in all, we (and I speak for the birds too) prefer this design. It works the best and, most surprisingly, costs less than any other feeder we've tried. And we've tried a few.
TIPs: To prevent any leaks, make sure the bottom 2 pieces are secured together, and that the top is screwed in well. Was easy to tell with the old ones, but you have to take the time to really check with these. To clean, place feeder in sink and unscrew the top from the base. NO dishwasher. This baby bottle brush is perfect and $5 on Amazon: Ubbi Baby Bottle Brush Set. The little nipple brush makes cleaning the tight spaces (ports and inside reservoir separator) a breeze, and the big brush practically molds itself to the inside of the tank, and the tank and base threads. Spritz with hydrogen peroxide, let it sit a couple minutes, then rinse and fill.
PROs: Holds 2 cups -as much as the regular/taller feeders. Flower ports keep PNW carpenter, fat honeybees, and yellow jackets out. Earwigs do still get in but nothing keeps them out. Easy to clean inside and out.
CONs: Top tank clear plastic is very flimsy -it squishes. The top assembly is like the baby-proof doorknob covers: The red top part spins around the clear plastic tank. To get a grip to unscrew it, you have to reach under it and grasp the clear tank itself. Trickier than it should be. Hot glue would not hold the top to the tank. Not a fan of the moat. It collects rainwater, so if there is any nectar left in the feeder (which there usually is), I have to carefully and slowly walk it to the sink.
As I refill the feeders, I am swapping my old feeder tops to use with these new bottoms. NOTE: Don't rush out and buy new tops -they are making those super flimsy now, too. If you have the thicker old ones, you're golden.

The product delivery has resulted in little dent to it but, the plastic is of great quality. I hoped that the packaging could have been much better and secure for a costly product like this in relative terms.
You may have to try experimenting with multiple failures in the beginning but, once the hummingbirds start noticing and get a taste of it then, it encourages them to be a regular visitor.
Always clean the product with detergent and Dettol after min 3-4-5 max days of usage.
Thanks,
SAURABH.
