The QEP 10800 Professional Tile Cutter is a multi-purpose cutter for most ceramic and porcelain tile up to 28 inches in length. This cutter has Ishii engineering with a wide cast aluminum alloy base with heavy rubber pads for cutting stability, dual chrome-plated rail bars and linear ball bearing slides for smooth scoring. The 7/8 inch titanium-coated tungsten-carbide ball bearing cutting wheel is designed for long lasting performance even when scoring hard porcelain tiles. The wheel is adjustable to 4 different heights to move out of the way and allow easy snapping. The large, high-leverage bicycle grip handle makes repeat cutting easier and reduces fatigue. The base includes side arm extensions to support large format tiles.

I specifically ordered a Brutus. I already own 24" Brutus and is is the best tile cutter I've ever used. We wanted something a little bigger so we bought this one. My heart sank when I opened the amazon box and saw a great big QEP box inside. If I wanted a cheap crap QEP Product, I would have gone to my local homeowner crap tool store and bought one. I understand that Ishii makes both QEP and Brutus. Ford makes lots of vehicles, but you would be pretty ticked if you ordered a Lincoln and a Focus was delivered to your doorstep instead. Just by the construction weight I can feel that this is far less quality to the Brutus. I had a,azon send out a replacement just in case they sent the wrong thing. Yup, this whole listing and description is a downright Lie!!!
Very well built and cuts porcelain tile like a dream. I bought one for the tile work on a master bath remodel and it really made quick work of all the cuts on the 12x24 porcelain tiles. I compared it to other units in the big box stores and this is much better built than comparably priced units.
took awhile to get used to, I have been using my bosses tomechanic forever. once I worked out the kinks I love it - cuts hard porcelain really nice, supports big tiles, good fence, even cuts pretty small strips, was worth twice what I paid imo.
Garbage! We have tiled before, and used a similar, smaller cutter, which worked well. Bought this one because we are doing a large tile job, with porcelain tile. Breaks everyone, leaves a "tail" on some cuts, on others breaks clean for 10 inches, then breaks all the way across. Tested on many settings. Went back to 30 dollar cutter, and no problems. Don't buy!!! Wish I could return this expensive mistake!
I have a big issue with one of these ,it was used and a part is missing now the customer is angry this product is on the island of Jamaica what can you do to rectify this problem plz.
I was able to cut about 20 tiles before needing to replace cutting wheel. Replacement wheels are $25. Rip-off. Diagonal cutting is a bit awkward. I used this on wood look porcelain tile and the cutting wheel didn't score very well. I tried with varying degrees of pressure. Very few came out perfect. Sometimes had to score more than once, which was problematic. Had to use tile clippers quite often. Replacing the Cutting wheel is not an easy process. My tile is laid at a diagonal, so most of my cuts are at a 45 degree angle. I may have to hide the cuts with moulding, if the grout doesn't hide the flaws. I just hope I can finish this room without having to replace the wheel too many times.
