    We needed to replace our old Radio Shack base and one handset. We found the AT&T CL84102 that matched all of our needs and had some extra bells and whistles. The quality of the phone is excellent and we're very happy with it!

    My parents needed a new home phone, so I decided to get them one for Christmas. Reading reviews on Amazon has become sort of an addiction for me (jk), so I spent many many hours doing research into different technologies and price points. This system seemed to be perfect for their needs, and the majority of the reviewers were positive, so I pulled the trigger and clicked "add to cart". Boy, am I glad I did!

    This baby works like a charm! It has all the latest wireless technology from AT&T built into the handset, while the landline phone and base are loud and have nice large buttons for easy dialing. Voicemail and missed calls are also very easy to manage, unlike their previous home phone, which my folks were constantly begging me to help them with! The best part is, I set up the landline so my dad can use it, and set up the wireless handset in my mom's room where she can hear and see it. They ALWAYS used to have trouble finding the phone because one of them would leave it somewhere, initiating a horrible conflict that is now a thing of the past!

    LOVE THIS PHONE! Way to go, AT&T!

    This phone was exactly what I was looking for. I didn't need the answering machine, but it turned off simply by pushing the button on the front ' answer 'on/off'. I like that the date and time show on the display, as well as how many missed calls, and that you can scroll through them. It also displays the caller ID. The display is large and easy to read. I like the corded base, but then it comes with the cordless if you need it. The directions are the most clear I have read in a long time, any questions are easily answered via the index or looking through the manual. I think this phone is a good value and would buy it again. I've had it for a week and have had no issues - I just threw out the box.

    I purchased this phone system to replace an older AT&T phone and answering machine and separate caller ID box, that I have had since the mid-1990s. The older equipment actually still works. The reason that I bought this was because my mother had bought a similar system, but with all cordless phones (no corded phone in base). That system's caller ID will audibly (verbally) announce who is calling so you do not have to look at the phone. That is really cool! Since I actually had another off-brand phone that went bad, I decided to replace that with my old AT&T phone, and get this one because we like to have at least one corded phone in the house. Also, our old phone's speaker phone ran off of the phone line power, and has not been working as well since we use a VOIP carrier phone system that does not put as much power out to always power the speaker successfully. So here's my list of mostly pros and some cons:

    PROS
    - All-in-One corded phone with answering machine, caller ID, and cordless phone base (saves space from older separate devices)
    - Large caller ID display and number keys on base phone makes it easy to read
    - Voice announced caller ID and personal phone number directory (says what you enter in for known phone numbers)
    - Plug in power provides a strong speaker phone on the base
    - Digital answering machine is easy to use and announces the caller ID associated with the message
    - Cordless phone displays and announces caller ID
    - Can check answering machine messages from cordless phone
    - Voice Mail symbol display on phones if you have a voice mail message on a separate voice mail system with your carrier (as we do)
    - Cordless phone has a speaker built-in
    - Can add many more cordless phones (purchased separately)

    CONS
    - No headset jack in the cordless phone, nor a belt clip (my other cordless phones have a jack to connect a headset for hands free use, including a belt clip)
    - Speaker on cordless phone does not sound as clear as my other cordless phones (Uniden)

    Overall, I recommend this phone system. It provides a lot of functionality for the money.
    However, due to the 2 cons that I mentioned, I can only give it 4 stars.

    Because, my mobile phone has almost no signal in my house, it was important to have a landline phone.
    This AT&T product is excellent! Way beyond my expectations! Well made, easy to use, reliable, and important and useful features...Digital screen, easy to use answering feature, history of calls, delete function is practical, and just everything about it is excellent! It is a corded phone, so no batteries to operate.
    Plus, you get a wireless handset, that is also outstanding! Pretty much anywhere in the house, the signal is strong and clear (with a digital screen feature as well!). The handset comes with a battery charger (batteries have to be inserted, which is easy) and seems to last for awhile.
    Really, a terrific product! 5 Stars! (Make it 10 Stars!)

    I highly recommend this phone with no reservations. I have used Panasonic in the past and knew I would never buy a Panasonic again. I have been looking for quite some time. In my latest search, I found this AT&T corded phone with one portable. I ordered a second portable on the same order. The receiver has some substance to it, which is great. The programming is very easy and the read out is large as are the numbers. Another fantastic feature I did not know about when I purchased it is the "Intercom." It can work on phone #1 or #2 or how many portables one uses. There is an equalizer which allows one to adjust the bass, treble for better hearing, depending on who one talks to. I am so happy to find a phone that is of outstanding quality. One can buy it with confidence.

    El telefono llego 4 días antes de lo estipulado entonces muy buen servicio por parte de Amazon. Los dos aparatos son muy faciles de instalar y programar (ojo no viene instructivo en español) pero se puede configurar para que el menu y todas sus funciones sean en español (la fecha sigue el estandar americano)

    Muy buen sonido y buenos materiales. El telefono inalambrico que tambien incluye tiene muy buena recepción. Basicamente no se puede pedir mas a este telefono.

    The product is totally kickass, clear voice clarity and long range. but this phone HAS A SERIOUS FLAW FOR THE INDIAN USERS.
    The caller id does not work in India, and since there aren't any at&t service centers in India as of now, I had no option but to return the product even though I liked it.
    The user manual clearly states that the caller id facility might not be available in certain regions and we need to contact the service provider for that. however, our desi bsnl guys are too chilled, so they have provided the facility by default. The only reason I bought it was for the caller id, which ofcourse I didn't get. If however, you don't want the caller id, buy this product with your eyes closed.
