As others have said the instructions are sadly lacking but really spend some time analyzing it and how it is designed and works before you go putting it together and you'll get it. I chose to put some bolts in place of the pins in some of the places. I also mounted mine to two long boards since it's in the basement and I left the long base part off to get it closer to a wall. this worked great. With the net...yes, do the corners first and then alternate top/bottom and sides all the way around like you would a trampoline. I also put the bungees from the old Franklin one on but of course this is not necessary. But, I did utilize a tool that came with our trampoline and it helped a TON. You may want to get or fashion a tool like this to help you stretch the bungees on. It was actually a cinch with this tool. (They should just include one.) Also, see the pictures to see how I decided to attach the bungees to spread out the tension. I think this is better and experimented with bounce-back etc. This seemed to work the best.
I think the only one that would rival this for baseball would be a Ruckett but they are smaller and I wanted one that had a straight face for a predictable bounce-back. I could only imagine this would be great for lax as well!

We looked into rebounder nets and it wasn’t easy an easy decision, as most options did not mention ANYTHING at all about usage for the purpose of volleyball training. We looked at smaller frames, but in the end we decided for this bigger 6x6 frame and we are so happy we did. It can be tilted to the players specifications, very sturdy and doesn’t move or wobble, it also folds up easily for storage.
It was delivered promptly in a smallish box and had to be assembled, that process took about 45-60 min from start to finish. Instructions were clear, though we needed some muscle strength and team work to get the net bungeed around the frame so it would be nice and even and tight. The materials of this rebounder are great quality, as far as we can tell, powder coated steel and quality bolts and pins. One word of caution if color matters a lot to you, we bought what we thought was a blue frame, but the one we got delivered is a bright, happy orange. That being said, we actually love that color more than the blue, though in the grand scheme of things it actually didn’t matter much.
As to the functionality of this rebounder for the purpose of volleyball practice, it is OUTSTANDING! Our daughter absolutely loves it and is able to practice her passes and serves and she is happily occupying a lot of her time outside, either by herself or with another player. Not a regret at all about this purchase, we can only recommend it!
PS: We plan on keeping this rebounder our of the elements when not in use, bu storing it somewhat sheltered under our deck. It gets hot in the Southern Texas sun and that isn’t a good thing for the elastics of the net in the long run, hence our precautions.
I will say though that getting the net 2 get on there was almost impossible. I had the frame built within about 20 minutes. Then it took me about 3 hours to finally get the net into place. At first the process is very very simple but then obviously as you get towards the corners then that becomes very tight. It doesn't stretch very much and so even following the instructions perfectly there were a couple of bungees I had to leave off. It doesn't affect the performance of the bounce back very much though. It just means that if you get towards the edges of the net like if you trying to shoot to the corners, sometimes the ball will go through. I think that it would actually be a really cool upgrade to have a non stretchy back stop on the corners of the net that prevented the ball from just going through. It's something that with a little bit of sewing skills a person could make themselves.
Another option would be to deliberately leave off the bungees on the extreme corners and attach fabric bags to those corners to collect up shot balls... missed shots with Van Gogh either pass the net just like in real life, or would be rejected back to you.
I HIGHLY recommend getting a hook tool like the photo shows to help pull tension and attach the hook to the bungee. These usually come with trampolines.
