Very nice addition to my RV, and fits in my utilities cabinet just fine. No, not the strongest in the world, so if you're a little on the "portly" side, this will be too light. But for me at 175lbs it works fine. When I'm parked with the tail lower than the nose, it's a good jump to get up to first rung, so this really makes a world of difference.

Height to reach the regular ladder on motor home!

I'm a very short person and height is always a problem, this is being used on the ladder on the back of our 30 ft. motorhome. When we are camping in Georgia there is always leaves falling on the roof of it and I have to go up to sweep them off our roof. the ladder on the motor home itself is quit a bit off the ground and this additional ladder helps me to get up off the ground it is a lot safer then using a step ladder against the permanent ladder on the back of our motor home.

There honestly needs to be a safer way to climb these steps. They look good, Good construction but besides the straps that hold them to my ladder, it's an accident waiting to happen. I scratched up the back of my RV after I climbed the 3rd step. The steps swayed to the left and which made it very unstable. Returning them due to a safety concern.

We needed to buy this to get up to the ladder on our rig. The rubber like things they include for attaching it to the rest of the ladder do not stretch enough ( because they're not rubber) We ordered a pack of 4 that are meant for a bike rack. So when the sun ruins the first two, we will have some to replace them. They work perfectly. If Stromberg Carlson would change this feature the ladder would be closer to the value/price. I bought mine "used" for half price.

The straps do not fit around the ladder of my Thor Challenger. Using pliers, it appears I may be able to stretch them far enough to get the holes over the hooks, but I’m not confident I’ll be able to get them back off afterwards. The ladder does not fold, so it has to be removed before driving. I’m not sure I can use this at all.

I must be at the top of the weight restrictions (200 lbs) for this unit as it seems to flex alot when I climb up it. The second thing is why wouldn't it be made to permanently attach to your existing ladder with a hinge to fold it up rather than disconnecting it every time?
