When I used the jacket with a single frozen gallon jug of water, swapped out each day with a fresh one, this jacket allowed me to keep the temperature inside the fermenter approximately 10 degrees below the room's ambient temperature. With two frozen gallon jugs (about as many as you can find inside with this particular fermenter), I got it down about 15 degrees below ambient. Your situation could vary depending on where you're using it, of course. I used it in a basement which generally stays between 63F and 68F year-round.
When I combined this with a Cool Zone cooling jacket which pumps ice water around the fermenter, I was able to achieve some pretty dramatic temperature drops. Using a typical beverage cooler and frozen water jugs swapped out daily, it was no problem keeping a 7-gallon Brewmaster Bucket at 40F for as long as needed. With more-regular swapping out of jugs (I'd guess about every 12 hours), you could probably get it as low as 36F for cold-crashing.
On the plus side, this is a large jacket with a lot of room inside for jugs of ice. It's tall enough (but only JUST tall enough) for a 7-gallon Brewmaster Bucket with a canister style airlock on top. Another inch or two taller and you'd probably snap off the airlock or be unable to zip the cooling jacket shut. It seems to be durable and well-made, and easy to clean.
My biggest complaint, and it's somewhat minor in the grand scheme of things, is that the soft, pliable nature of the jacket is such that it does tend to want to crumple to the ground. This can make getting a fermenter in and out of it a little challenging if you don't have help. It's definitely doable, it's just something you have to be careful about.
All things considered, it's been a good purchase and I will definitely get a second one when I add another Cool Zone cooler to my setup.
