I’m sure the pad will work great with snow but the scraper is cheaply made and uneven. It leaves streaks of ice/frost underneath due to the wavy edge of the scraper as seen in my second picture. I also see lots of reviews of it cracking, I’m sure under the force of scraping in the cold which is what it’s made to do. I figured a name brand product would have a good scraper. I will try to grind it smooth with my grinder in order to keep it because I wanted the Snow Joe for the pad. The pole feels premium and sturdy. The foam on the pole is high quality.

I love these things. They remove snow so fast and I've never had them scratch the paint. I live in snow country and there is no amount they cannot remove off the cars. One thing I would suggest, glue the foam pad to the post as it tends to spin off when using it. I added some glue to the threads and it works flawlessly. If you are not sure, buy it.

This is the best car-cleaning tool ever! I'm short and have pain in my hands. Using a brush to clean snow off of my car is not easy. The brush tends to float over the snow and the handle isn't long enough to reach most of the roof or the center of the hood and windshield. The Snow Joe reaches everywhere, moves the snow easily and quickly off of every inch of the car, and doesn't cause pain in my hands. All that with no worries about scratching the paint on my car. I had this in a blizzard in Mammoth, CA. First off I want to say, this thing works and it works well. It cleared a ton of snow off my car in a very short amount of time.

However, since it is foam, the ice that built up took chunks out of this quickly. Also, this is pretty large, so prepare for this to take up much more space than a typical snow brush. The good news is, it lays pretty flat, so it easy enough to store.

Overall, it's worth it if you are removing a lot of snow from your car, but if you have a lot of ice and are in more rough environments, this may not last more than a season or two.

It works really well for removing big volumes of snow off the car and truck (especially the roofs!). What I find annoying is that the different parts seem to loosen off constantly when using it. The head is screwed in but it is plastic so you don't want to tighten cold plastic too much or it will break, but if you don't tighten it enough it will loosen off. The extension capability is great, but can't seem to get it tight enough to stay put yet still be able to loosen it to collapse it again. A cam clip would have been best on the extension, but not sure what you do about the head.
