First bike trainer. Was surprised how fast that it was shipped to me. The company answered my question about trainer fast when I noticed the instructions called for replacing rear quick release axle with the one provided and I did not have a quick release on my bike. Was told how to mount bike on trainer and I just love it. Had a spin bike and recumbent bike that I lost in Sandy and I decided to replace with a cycle trainer instead, takes up less room and I get more use out of my bike now then I did before. I looked around at other trainers and I decided on this one due to the reviews, quality construction and no assembly. Since I never had a trainer before I could not tell you if this one is quieter but I can tell you that it is quieter than what I replaced. There are cheaper trainers out there but you get what you pay for.

I bought this because of two features, the ability to quickly put attach and remove my bike, and for the low noise level. I was disappointed on both features. I found it hard to adjust the locking mechanism for my road bike, and it was not the quiet ride I had hoped. Maybe my expectations were too not realistic, but this was hardly any more quiet than the cheap trainer I've had for over a decade. Trying to watch anything or listen to music means blasting it, and this was almost at that level. I've packed it up and am returning it. The other problem is that the front legs don't lock, so every time you move it, it has to be reset. That is just an annoyance, but at this price I would have liked legs I could set and forget. It is well made as far as strength and construction, and I have no doubt that for some people's needs it would be a good choice. Just know what you are buying, a solid but certainly not quiet trainer that may be difficult for some bikes to engage and disengage. BTW, mine is an older LeMond - a medium level, good road bike.

I coupled my Cannondale road bike with a Wahoo Speed and Cadence sensor, Bikemate slimcase for the iPhone, a Polar H7 heart monitor, and this Cascade Fluid Pro Trainer for the most complete cardio equipment set you could ask for -- all bought on Amazon. Add the iBiker app of the iPhone to collect the data. This trainer is superb. It really does feel like riding on the road, and is very stable. You can find spinning videos on YouTube to add your workout, or just watch whatever. I have been very pleasantly surprised by this piece of equipment and would highly recommend it.

It switches between the three bikes I own very easily. I wish it has a way of tracking distance or watt output. Very quite. Quick and easy set-up.

I'm a little bit of a cheapskate so it wasn't easy for me to "pull the trigger" on this purchase. So far, though, I'm really glad that I did. This thing just reeks quality. It is super-quiet and the ride feel is remarkably like being on the road. I haven't had it long enough to evaluate durability but by the build quality and the lifetime warranty (to the original purchaser) I'm pretty confident that it will last and last. I'm really happy that I decided to spend the extra $$ for a quality trainer. Sometimes, you get what you pay for.

1st off, Cascade is not a house-hold name in the cycle trainer community. I read the reviews and took a chance when purchasing. I could not be more pleased; very high quality, very easy to set up. Very happy with this trainer for the cold Colorado winters.
