Nice fit as I have wide feet, but the slide pad wore out 1yr. The shoe itself is still good but you can't replace the slide pad. It's worn down to the rubber tip of the shoe and makes you stick. Why the pad doesn't go all the way to the tip of shoe baffles me. I purchased these at good price in 2021 for $38.95. Now they are twice as much for $79.95 ?????? I will not be buying them again for that price.

Shockingly comfortable! I'm going to have to check if Dexter sells street shoes, love these things! I didn't need to break them in at all, perfect right out of the box. This is one part of my game I'll never have to worry about again.

These shoes were delivered ahead of scedule and in perfect condition. They also include a pair of black laces for them should you tire of white. The fit was great and very comfortable and they include a pre-addressed label for returns should you need to do that. On the lanes I found it helpful to use just a little powder on your sliding shoe until you get used to them-perhaps in just one session as I did. My last pair of Dexters gave me 25 years of use so why change brands? These are universal shoes for a righty or lefty as I am-I highly recomend them.

This is my third review - this time I ordered and received the 11W shoe that should have fit in size 10W. The 11W has proper toe front clearance and proper width. This one I'm keeping.

Got the 10.5Wide and it's not any longer than the 10 I had previously bought. This 10.5 Wide states 10.5 on the tongue, so it should have been longer and wider than the 10.0, but it's not. Will try 11Wide.

I normally wear a 104E in most shoes, all my sneakers are 104E, so I ordered a 10W in this shoe. The length was off, toes ran into the end of the shoe and it was tighter in length and width than expected. I am exchanging it for a 10.5W and Amazon makes this very easy to do.

I've been folk dancing for decades and dancing can really punish a shoe (and your feet). I've been through the Capezios, Danshuz and various other odds and ends, but nothing did wides worth a darn and pinched my feet to the point I was getting a neuroma. Plus, the heels tended to be abysmal. And I tried the Brunswick sneaker like bowling shoes, but within a few months the sole started to separate making it clear they couldn't stand the punishment. Once the pinch in my foot started to affect my ability to dance I was desperate to find a wide that would give my foot enough room. I finally came across these Dexters, chosen largely because they didn't look as much like bowling shoes as most of the others. Well, I'm sold and have been using these regularly for more than 5 years now. They hold up great too, I did buy a second pair not because my original pair is falling apart, but because they have gotten so beat up now they no longer look as nice-- still servicable though so they're useful as a backup pair. They are very comfortable, sturdy but not too heavy, well cushioned, and have the right sole configuration for all but the stickiest of dance floors (suede sole on both feet with rubber heels). The suede holds up well too, I thought I might have to replace it at some point but it's nowhere near worn through. The suede makes it easy to pivot and the heels give you stability when you need it on the slicker floors. I have no idea how they are for bowling, but for dancing they're the best there is. I suppose if they looked a little more like dress shoes, that would be an improvement, but keeping my feet happy are more important than the looks, and stiffer leather on the top would probably not be as good from a performance standpoint. At least they're mostly black and come with black laces as well as white.

I am a woman bowler. I needed a wide shoe that is well made and with foot stability. Did not find what I needed in the womens section, so I found what I neded in these shoes. Thrilled with them. The two pair of shoe laces are nice. (nice and thick with dexture so they will stay tied.) However, I replaced my laces with the athletic rubber band laces (helps with secure laces and consistant fit). They look great on these shoes.

The shoes perform well on the lanes. Have bowled in a lot of conditions and lanes - the shoes do well. I bowl in three leagues, and I started noticing how many Turbo IIs are bowling! Great price for these all purpose bowling shoes. (Cannot change heel or slider- thus all purpose. Works for me!)

Also, the toe box is higher than some shoes, so most inserts will fit. The insole is fine- But if you are like me, and require a special insert, they should fit into this shoe. My full inserts (from pediatrist) fit great! The original insole is glued, but can be removed. To remove, just ease around the glue while pulling out the insole. It should come out in one piece if you go slowly. Again, for those who do not need inserts, the shoe insole itself is fine. I just spend enough time in mine, that it must fit like my other athletic shoes.

It also looks like a very durable shoe. When I asked other bowlers about their Turbo IIs, most said that the shoes last a long time. And knowing their scores, the shoes must be working for them! I look forward to a long friendship with mine. This is the shoe I will purchase when my son needs his next shoes. Hope this helped!

Knock 'em down!

Good overall shoe at a pretty good value. My only concern is that they fit a little small. I would suggest a 1/2 size larger than what if wear (if possible). I typically wear a size 13 shoe which allows my feet a little room. I ordered a 13 and even though they fit, they are a little snug.

Really comfortable and cushioned
Nice room in the toe box without being too wide
Look really sharp
Black and Tan laces included.

To address the issue people have raised, the felt on the sole does indeed not extend all the way to the toe. The toe does sort of curve up though so I don't see a problem, I'll update if so.
